very very relatable. i sold my old softbox about a month ago just to buy an easier, quick folding one. really made a huge difference on my workflow. as always, very informative guide. i really learned so much on using external flashes from your vids. thanks sir jiggie
This is such a great guide. I'm a beginner hobbyist portrait photographer and I'm planning to buy an off-camera flash first then I'll go next with an awesome softbox. Thanks for this guide, Sir! I've learned so much just watching you videos!
I pulled that nanlite softbox, and my thumb muscle was swollen it was hard to clip on(the manual says pull). Now I know I should push down rather than pull.
Thank you for this wonderful setup Sir Jiggie. Can you also do a light setup and light placement using One Speedlight with reflective Umbrella and Two Nuada R3. Nice video btw, sir, very informative.
Around 2 years ago, I bought an old style 35cm x 160cm rectangular softbox and had difficulty putting it together/choosing which holes to use until I noticed the numbers and letters/shapes on the speedring. It was my first purchase of a softbox. What I had before were the small rectangular ones from the Falconeyes cheapest 2 light studio light set that I bought 2nd hand more than 15 years ago 😅 Hopefully the prices of the umbrella type softboxes go down enough that they become the standard na. When we are starting we search for those videos everywhere. To have all the instructions basically in one video, that is really nice.
Yeah trying to fill in that gap of really basic videos

Cool. Can you also make a tutorial on how to attach a flash as well as continuous light source to it? Thank you 😊

Nice video btw, sir, very informative.
Lots of lighting tutorials using umbrellas in the channel
I have a question sir, what kind of softbox lighting brand is for beginners
Phottix Raja series
Nice video, noticed the parabolic umbrella doesn't fall in this category.
Because I don’t think instructions are needed on how to set up an umbrella :)
Great info
Thanks

Yeah all of the quick open ones are quite reasonably priced already
Thanks!
You’re welcome
there's always call a friend to do the setup..........:-)
It was usually the assistants, i remember initiating them by making them put together a 20 rod modifier. LOL
Softbox guide! Hahaha
Just how to set it up :)
@@JiggieAlejandrino I gotta guess, a softbox giveaway is in order. Hahahahaha :)
If there’s only one thing I can complain about the Raja is it’s weight - a little on the heavier side.
True specially the bigger ones but I’d rather deal with the weight then have to manually put up a modifier again :)
That first style is a time-consuming hassle, but they are dirt cheap these days compared to when they were state of the art.
Exactly
Don’t you think the MagMod is even easier?
It is, but price wise and flexibility it’s not something that most people will consider
soon
