- Train കളുടെ ഓട്ടതിന്റെ ടൈം ടേബിളും train കളുടെ നിയന്ത്രണവും റെയിൽവേയുടെ ടോപ് ലെവലിൽ നിന്നാണ് തുടങ്ങുന്നതെങ്കിലും, train ൽ loco പൈലറ്റ്മാർ ഒക്കെ ഉണ്ടെങ്കിലും ശരിക്കും train കളെ നിയന്ത്രിക്കുന്നത് സ്റ്റേഷൻ മാസ്റ്റർ മാരാണ്. ഒരു സ്റ്റേഷനിൽ നിന്ന് പുറത്ത് കടക്കണമെങ്കിൽ അടുത്ത സ്റ്റേഷനിലെ സ്റ്റേഷൻ മാസ്റ്റർടെ അനുവാദം വേണം; അതിനിടയിൽ ഓട്ടോമാറ്റിക് ബ്ലോക്ക് സെക്ഷൻസ് ഉണ്ട് എങ്കിൽ പോലും. അത്രയ്ക്ക് പ്രാധാന്യമുണ്ട്, power ഉണ്ട് ഒരു സ്റ്റേഷൻ മാസ്റ്റർക്ക്. ഓരോ റെയിൽവേ സ്റ്റേഷന്റെയും ഭരണാധികാരി അവിടത്തെ സ്റ്റേഷൻ മാസ്റ്റർ ആണ്. അങ്ങനെയുള്ള ഓരോ സ്റ്റേഷൻ ഉം കടന്നല്ലേ ട്രൈനുകൾ പോവേണ്ടത്. അതിന് ആ സ്റ്റേഷനിലെ സ്റ്റേഷൻ മാസ്റ്റർ track തയ്യാറാക്കി റൂട്ട് ഒരുക്കണം സിഗ്നൽ കൊടുക്കണം. സ്റ്റേഷനിൽ ഇങ്ങനെ ട്രാക്ക് ഒരുക്കുന്നതും സിഗ്നൽ നൽകുന്നതുമായ പ്രോസസ്സ് തന്നെ വളരെ complicated ആണ്. അതിന് സ്റ്റേഷൻ മാസ്റ്റർ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്ന ഈ പാനലും അതിന്റെ controls ഉം, ഒക്കെ എങ്ങനെയാണ് പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നതെന്നും, അതുപയോഗിച്ച് എങ്ങനെയാണ് ആ സിഗ്നലുകളും track ലെ പോയിന്റ് കളും ഒക്കെ നിയന്ത്രിക്കുന്നതെന്നും, ഓരോ സിറ്റുവേഷൻസിലും സ്റ്റേഷൻ മാസ്റ്റർ എന്താണ് ഇതിൽ ചെയുന്നത് എന്നും, കൂടെ ഇതിന്റെയൊക്കെ സേഫ്റ്റിയും എല്ലാമാണ് ഈ വിഡിയോയിൽ.

Watching this video, I am thinking about the rail traffic controller at Basin Bridge Junction Chennai. Numerous train from North, East, West and South part of India enter Chennai Central through Basin Bridge Junction, including the Suburban train. I have literally seen two to three trains in same track few metres apart waiting for Signal 😮

Block Section രണ്ട് സ്റ്റേഷനുകൾ തമ്മിൽ ആണ്. സാധാരണ ഗതിയിൽ ഒരു സ്റ്റേഷനിലെ last stop signal (advanced starter), മുതൽ മുന്നിൽ ഉള്ള സ്റ്റേഷൻ്റെ Home Signal വരെ. Block Section-ൽ ഒരു സമയം ഒരു തീവണ്ടി മാത്രമെ ഓടാൻ പാടുള്ളു.

Station master is just operating the panel. All other things are operated in background automatically ie. Point operations, route locking, signal clearing etc. These signalling gears and interlocking system is planned, installed and maintained by signal dept. As per operated by SM the things are working actually in yard based on the interlocking system only. Pls do a video about signal department.

No it is wrong Control officer is controlling the train movement. I have visited the control office many times. Section controller is ordering the station master about the movement of the train.
