Thanks for this! I was just looking at the jogging stroller I bought for converting to a cart for clay shooting and was trying to figure out how to convert the rear area for storage since the existing nylon bottom would not hold any significant weight. I was considering trying to build some sort of tray that could be be set in place when the stroller was opened and removed when it was closed. I can certainly do that, but your idea of using strap *under* the existing nylon bottom to take the weight is perfect. It is a much easier solution!

I built a fishing cart out of an old golf bag cart. Pretty similar to this. 3 wheels, strapped a 5 gallon bucket with a tool bag on the outside, aerator for bait or live well inside and rod holders for my rods and a net.bHas cup holders and misc tools as well

I made mine similar but I also added a milk crate with PVC pipe to hold my fishing rods. Works great for Steel Challenge and fishing

I made something like this about 10 years ago but it was for fishing. I added 4 pvc pipes for rods
Nice work why pay a fortune when you can improvise and enjoy making your own 👍 as for the poncho to keep your kit dry should look at getting a fishing umbrella and adding some clips to one of the vertical tubes should keep your kit dry 👍
