Thank you so much for this video because I have been building my own lift kit and i'm now considering going with DeerField for it!!! LOL I just haven't the time to complete my build yet! After watching hundreds of videos, The Sinker Guy, and all the different upgrades to beach carts, I, of course, have designed my own which may take years of trial and error before I've perfected it!! Money, you know all about it! I just have a burning desire to go fishing right now. After my wife and I met you a couple years ago at Orange Beach, I have certainly stolen a couple ideas from your old cart! I.E. the shower curtain rings for my sputnicks! They work great, by the way!! LOL It always helps us old fellows at making life easier when we seem to carry everything but the kitchen sink with us to the beach! Have a wonderful wife you know who packs for a crew of 12 or more. Tell me Jordan, what kind of tires are you using now and where did they come from?
Below is the Amazon like to the wheels! They have bearings in them, not the best bearings but does help them rotate easier. Bonnlo 16" Balloon Wheels, 2 Pack Replacement Beach Sand Tires for Axle with 0.78" or 0.98" Diameter, Retrofit to Beach Wagon Fishing Cart Rolling Walker Wheelchair with Bearing Free Air Hand Pump a.co/d/aOv07xs
That’s some awesome upgrades I need to upgrade to 4 wheels and push handle. What kind of tires are them and are the better than the orange or blue ones?
Link to Amazon below is where I got them. They are definitely more durable than the orange tires but Ive never had my hands on the blue tires so I don’t know about them. These tires also have bearings to help to rotate easier. Just getting in to surf fishing, looking to get my first cart. Where are you add one from?
Which Bonnlo tires did you purchase, the .78 or the .98 and what did you use for an axle? It looks like EMT (electrical conduit). I have the Sr cart and tried my buddies Bonnlo tire and it wouldn't fit on the stock 5/8" axle...
I was all for doing the same to my cart till I saw the price, at $490 its three times what I paid for my cart. I'm at the point where the low cart is a royal pain, but I can build one from scratch for less than I can likely sell my cart as is for. I do more pier fishing these days so sand tires aren't needed but I like the four wheel ideal and something besides the smooth typical sand tires. For years I used a folding shopping cart with rod holders and that was great but it limited the size of what I brought with me. so I went with the SR cart but its low and a pain to get at things. I was knocking around the idea of just making a lift and adding the axles and making my own push handle. It doesn't need to be so long on a four wheel cart either It can just be a near vertical rise with a full length grip. More like a shopping cart handle then a mower handle. It would also take up less room in the truck. The way mine is set up now the wheels are outboard of the frame, thus making it about 31" wide or so, its a tight fit through some gates on the piers and it makes storing it a bit of a headache as well since i can't just leave it loaded and tuck it in the corner. I want to put the wheels underneath, maybe with two smaller wheels vs four equal size wheels.
Depends on the width of your tire and they all have slightly different widths. If you’re going to use conduit for your axles like I did, I would attach the axles and tires to the cart and then mark and cut the conduit to size.
Thank you, greatly appreciate it! Deerfield makes all sorts of cart accessories and you can find everything they have in the link below. deerfieldfabandweld.com
No not at all. In fact all it really takes is a little side pressure on the handle to get it to start turning. If I want to turn at a sharp angle I just slightly lift up on the handle and the tires just slide around on the sand.

.78 and a 1/2in conduit will fit with just the slightest play.
what type of tires do you have?
I was all for doing the same to my cart till I saw the price, at $490 its three times what I paid for my cart.

What cart did you start with?
Fish N Mate Sr cart
If i use those 16" wheels how long do i need to make the new axle

I sure like that push handle, is there more info on it? I jacked up my cart and it looks badass! Just found your channel and am sure enjoying it!

Is the lack of steering difficult on the beach?
No not at all. In fact all it really takes is a little side pressure on the handle to get it to start turning. If I want to turn at a sharp angle I just slightly lift up on the handle and the tires just slide around on the sand.
Sounds good, nice job!
where do u get those rod holders
Deerfield Fabrication has them available on their website.
Where did you get those wheels?
Amazon, 16in Bonnlo I believe is the brand.
Which company makes this cart and upgrades?
Its a Fish N Mate cart but Deerfield Fabrication makes the handle, lift kit, and sand spike holder.
Are those stock tires?
Amazon link below is where I got them!
