    That sigh after your joke just screamed "I kill me!" lol I like how comfortable you've gotten in front of the camera over the last few years.

    I went to Home Depot and bought a Husky Cart set up and built it into my range box, I have 3 separate compartments for it, one holds tools and other stuff, the second is for my guns and I even put in a foam cutout for them, and the bottom is where I keep literally everything else, targets, extra ear protection and other items, but its all organized nice in there. Has handle and wheels. I just added an extra piece which I put all my ammo and mags in, which is all organized in gcode ammo holders. The whole set up was around 150ish.

      How is it holding up? I almost got one for my brother, but some of the reviews made me balk.

      Nice. When you say a Husky cart, do you mean a rolling bin or one of Husky's responses to the Packout stuff? I haven't looked at that aisle the last few times I've been to a HD. Can't picture which ones you're talking about.

      @@TUKByV it is holding up like a champ, I have had it about two years now and I haven't had any issues with it at all. I am not by any means beating the hell out of it either.

    I shoot at an outdoor range near Vegas. Got tired of baking in the sun for my pistol shooting practice at the member's only steel range. Bought an s3 range cart + umbrella after seeing this video. I can't wait to use it at my next trip.

    I bought one of these after your first video on them. TOTAL game changer! I agree 100% with what you said! I have the umbrella holder and the table. I have used it for both loading mags and eating lunch. 😂🤣😂

    Yes the summers are hot here. 105 And cooler is doable. Carry extra water in your car if you travel around and a blanket for emergency car repairs cause the asphalt is unforgiving in the summer. Watch the dogs as the sidewalks and streets in the heat can burn their paws. If you can’t hold your hand on it they can only stand limited exposure. Best wishes and welcome to the Valley of the Sun.

    This cart has also been a game changer for me. I bought one last year after my other wheeled range bag (with the little airport luggage wheels) got hung up in the mud during an outdoor training session last summer. Another shooter had one of these and the large wheels overcame all obstacles with ease. While not cheap, the S3 cart lets me keep all my shooting gear ready to go so I just have to add pistols/ammo for each range trip. I suspect those who remark about the expense don't have back issues or other physical limitations like I do that mitigate against the expense.

    My gear is in several places, so I had to make checklist, because something always seemed to be left behind when going to the range. So, not leaving gear behind and eliminating a lot of wasted time gathering gear before you leave and putting it up once you get back, are all huge pluses!

    Totally new shooter (last 3 years) and love all of your vids. Lots of info! This one is great too because I pull a wagon around too, and the seat is totally a game changer so I can rest these old bones. Thank you! 😊

    Thanks for posting the two videos. I am very interested in the cart to eliminate having to unload/load from trunk of car a very large range bag and a 4-wheeled wagon to move it around. Like you I want one bag with all the gear and ammo in it and bag that is easy to move around the range. And sit on. Can you do video showing what you can put where like if going to 3-gun match with max load of guns and ammo. Separate point is there a bag that can be removed to load up with current match needs of ammo/guns and leave the rest of cart in trunk. Most of time I want to leave as much as possible in car.

    The timing on this was impeccable. I have been on the hunt for a new cart, I've destroyed mine (similar to your old one, smaller wheels), but wasn't sure if I was super sold on the $300+. How long is your coupon valid for? Keep up the awesome content!

    Looks like a nice product and long-term reviews are appreciated. Carrying a bunch of guns, ammunition, targets, safety equipment, and everything else by hand gets a bit cumbersome. This having a built-in seat is a nice bonus.

    One thing to add to your range trips is a neck fan. I can shoot with my fan still on. I'm in Pittsburgh and use it all summer long. I couldn't belive the difference and so glad I started using it. May have to look into the range cart soon. Thanks Tess. You always have great content.

      One up you and go with a battery powered fan by whatever company you have cordless tools with (Milwaukee for me). Obviously you can’t shoot with it on but I wouldn’t take a neck fan on a stage myself other than for resetting.

    • @traciaxtell4553
      @traciaxtell4553 4 місяці тому

      Well I haven't run around with it much. You don't fee it on your neck at all and when you have your arms up to shoot it doesn't move. If it falls off than its no big deal. I buy them after the season and get them for $5.

    Looks interesting. I compete in 3 gun open class so I have a ton of stuff, not sure this would be big enough to replace my current setup (bike cart stroller) but I’ve been trying to find something that requires less setup and stores my stuff in it at home instead of dragging it all in and out of the house to the car each match, putting it on the cart, taking it off and into the car, then dragging it into the house again. May be worth a look.

    If I only shot pistol this would be awesome. I shoot enough disciplines that I still use the bucket cart and just load the loadout i need for the day. This is definitely cool though. I know a few buddies who use Milwaukee packouts.

    I have dumped my cart on a couple of occasions, what a pain. I tried a Milwaukee tool cart. The center of gravity is much lower but the wheels are too close to the box and easily get plugged up with mud and rocks so you just end up dragging the thing like a sled. If you only go to ranges that never get muddy, it would be fine.

    So, if you load it up as suggested, how easy is it for you to put it into your car or truck?

    • @tessahbooth
      @tessahbooth  4 місяці тому

      It's not easy at all haha, but I can do it. I just have to squat low, and lift with my legs. Fortunately the cart has a really solid, yet light weight cage, so there's a really good structure to get a solid grip on. It can get heavy, but it's not terribly awkward to pick up. That said, If I have a long gun that I'm transporting, I move it in its own case, it doesn't live in the scabbard when in transit. It would probably be more awkward to pick up if there was a heavy long gun on one side.

    I work at a popular range in Texas and I have never seen anyone using these carts. But it appears popular with influencers on social media. Not sure if they is because they don’t pay for it or they really like it.

    • @tessahbooth
      @tessahbooth  4 місяці тому +12

      They’re not really marketed towards the person going to and from the range, they’re marketed more towards competitive shooters. I see them at matches all the time, which was why I had cart in the first place.
      Honestly, no part of this review was blowing smoke. I made a whole zero dollars on this video, and I’m not going to make up stuff to say on the internet just to get products. I put wayyyy too many hours, money, and effort into this channel to shill for someone else’s gain 👍
