Do you ever use any verbal commands during this exercise?

I rely on my body language to cue the turn....showing a rhythm change to prepare the dog for the turn. OneMind Dogs handling was developed for a deaf dog originally and they found it works so well for all dogs. When we use verbal cues it's easy to neglect our body language as it's hard to focus on 2 things. I find it easier to handle my dogs quietly 😀
