I’m so mad lol I don’t want to buy another one of their crappy tablets! They’re terrible!
The Amazon Fire tablets are terrible. Completely agree. Tried one before and the thing was ultra glitchy.
We would say they are good value, so do not think you can get anything that does the basics as well for this price, and especially with the kids features and warranty, but it’s definitely by no means a premium tablet.
My kids have gone through but 4 of their tablets because after about 6 months they start to slow down drastically and then at about 1 year they are terrible or they completely give out. So yes I agreed.
It’s a shame you don’t get the full access to everything on the iOS version.
Seriously
unfortunately I think the problem is the apps and games haven't been ported to IOS. They're all written for android.
you unfortunately missed the biggest issue between the two, on the ios device you CAN NOT download anything but books for flights/ travel. we tried the ios app and as soon as we went offline it was as good as a paperweight.
bing amazon kids plus
video games and colors are you doing today I hope you have a great day before Thanksgiving so you can get ready for bed now get ready for the day at Tyson foods to eat to lose weight in your thighs bigger than the other one of the most remembered I have to last me Monday morning at her house material for Maury regional
I like the Amazon fire HD 10 kids edition from an adult’s perspective, I sometimes drop things so I like the big chunky Foam case. I actually really like how grippy it is and even tho it’s designed for little people, it’s not just for them it also works really great for me and it’s good value for money. The display is not bad either and even tho I’m an adult, I actually prefer the kid’s interface it’s more user friendly and I can just tap and go for playing a few games and watching some Netflix, or you tube on the go. Also It’s great for traveling and hotel rooms and, I get it’s in no way by any means an iPad. However I have an expensive MacBook Pro coming, so for places I don’t feel comfortable taking the MacBook, the Fire HD 10 will do perfectly for the odd weekend away etc etc! Couldn’t afford a MacBook and an iPad. However I am one happy customer!
😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
Station is music
Thanks for the comparison. I was tempted to get on the Android tablet.
Thanks now i can pirate games and get an infinite cash hack and emulators on my IOS!
Mine crashes, when I get the mail app for the code, it just crashes! (Help please)
Informative for kids+ on iPad but you do not actually compare android tablet and are wrong to say it's the same because it does actually have a very limited subset of the kids+ games
From what we could tel it looked the same, and both had very limited selection. Do you have a sense of the differences as we no longer have this running on an android? If so, we can pin as a comment here or update on a new video accordingly…
Thanks!
I tripped over this video trying to workout exactly what I would be missing using an android (non Amazon) tablet after my youngest smashed an old Amazon Fire (not kids).
Amazon fire (not kids) - apears to be exactly the same as my eldests kids fire but with a slightly different interface, presumably because it's an older tablet.
Android tablet - same as your video except there is 43 games available. This may be different depending on content/age restrictions etc. It's also worth noting you cannot approve additional apps that's installed on the OS, which with app pinning would actually be a really useful feature.
iPad - I have no idea I don't own one but it's shown in the video quite clearly. Again I guess the approving is installed apps wouldn't work either.
I guess the bottom line is you need Amazon Fire to get the most out of the kids+ subscription and that might as well be a kids edition for the case and no question replacement.
It's just a real shame you can't add UA-cam for kids.
Thanks for all that info!
From what we could tell, and additional info you’ve provided, it sounds like both iPad and android are very limited but how much depends more so on the version and age settings, etc., as opposed to iPad versus android.
I tried to show in the video that the non-fire tablet versions have some content but are limited. I hope that messaging came through.
Agreed it’s a real shame you cannot add UA-cam kids. This may be by design. There is a knockoff UA-cam app but we don’t recommend, and accessing through the silk browser may be an option - have you tried that?
Thanks for the demo
