    • @Chrissi33004
      @Chrissi33004 2 роки тому +3

      @@2BsYummySoles I mean yeah you can discuss the effectiveness of the LP/MMR/ELO system with how riot does it. My best guess is they do it this way to stop elo inflation/deflation caused by massive "unlikely" win/loss streaks.
      Like when you win 20 in a row (which is highly unlikely considering the 40/40/20 rule) the system starts giving you only +10/12 LP (works for loss streaks as well) because it isn't convinced you improved 3 divisions worth of elo (320LP) in a short time frame and therefore reduces your LP gains.
      The problem with this system is (obv.) that your MMR decouples from your visible LP and it honestly feels like shit.
      I understand the thought behind this system but it doesn't work like its supposed to. Having a lower MMR than your visible rank is a really bad feeling that is only fixed by losing. Instead the system should put you against higher ranked enemies to test if you belong in your new division instead of just assuming you dont belong there.
      The only reason why this is not the case is because having it the way it is now makes you grind more games.

      Agreed. The big problem with putting so much of an advantage on one player like this is if you die or your team dies around you then you just lose. All I see here is someone with a strong lead not extending his lead into other lanes and boosting his team mates. What inevitably happens here is your team loses enough that the enemy team catches up to you, and since you've been clowning them all game you're the primary target and then everyone else just melts around you.

You give away soul knowing you can Outplay/out-macro them after, but if we are against equal skill players, and make these choices and they get soul, we may not be able to close out the way you can. I agree the enemy played that part terribly, being split AF, but what if they rushed soul and came top. If you got caught as you did and they have soul, it may not be as easy to close iut. Also, you have Tryn, the god split pusher.

    He's basically saying that in low elo people make wrong choices, and putting pressure topside (most of the times you can do it if you have a lead as a midlander) when drake is up is the perfect example to make people take wrong choices, he's not saying that drakes are irrelevant, and if your team still loses a fight even with a numbers advantage, then it means that that game was not meant to be won by your team, because you can't ALWAYS 1v9, sometimes you just have to take the L and go next.

      Idk if you already do this, but recently ive been doing something i saw a pro saying about Zoe in competitive, and its been working for me, i play velkoz, and he said Zoe is strong because she can get enemys low before the fight even starts, or even kill enemys, turning the fight into a numbers advantage, with her high range Q+R, and with Velkoz and Xerath i think its pretty much the same thing, try to be in a position where you can poke the enemys, before a fight breaks out, and theres so many fights in low elo games. This even made me got back to play Velkoz more, i was feeling so powerless, i started playing the new broken champions, but thats it. Sorry for the big answer, hope it helps you, good luck with your games!

      Just push a wave and let it slow push to the enemy tower or crash it to the tower if you see everyone on the map or you can poke whoever goes to defend the tower you're pushing into. Poke mages push really fast so rotate after pushing one wave where you can do it safely and then group up with your teammates and poke people (Squishy or no sustain built targets ideally) before the fight even happens. Watch your position tho' because as a poke mage you're basically a traffic cone.

    Thank you. that's what I always tell my team.
    when I jgl and see no possible way to get the dragon without losing the teamfight, I just spam ping danger and hope that they don't die for it. I would say, that you are low elo if you die for a simple drake.
    It is so annoying when people flame you for not going for drake all ins and just pushing waves or building pressure on top lane. People just don't see the real importance of objectives in this game. I have seen so many Baron calls, because they think that it is safe to just do it without vision while i am on the other side on the map, even though, I have not even build enough pressure to let them sneak baron.

      You still go split push, it forces them to respond, making the dragon fight 4v4 and not 5v5 with a huhe advantage. Even if you lose the 1v1 on top, your opponent will not be able to help at dragon nor push your lane, if you win tho, you will get tower and might get someone else to show up, someone atronger this time and you're effectively making it a winning situation even if you're behind in gold.
      That is if your team doesn't completely int at the dragon and die 4-0. But that's the worst case scenario.
      Macro is important, you still can trade objectives even if you're behind. It doesn't mean the game's over.

But I ended up still being a huge threat because while everyone was fighting over objectives, I was pushing with the baaron buff my team secured.
