She's worth learning about. Such a talent & a story that encompasses more than one can imagine. Unfortunately mistreated and abused by the very studios & producers that made millions off of her work.

Yeah but those abusers are gone, unknown and forgotten, and not even relevant ...while she remains as popular and relevant today as yesterday..From generation to generation she is loved and cherished..Memories of this beautiful Queen lives on in her breathtaking photos etc. I read up on Ms.Monroe..She came up in poverty and wasn't a stranger to being around black people..and yes she had love in her heart for black people..
As a matter of fact she saw all race of people as equal..she was close friends with MsElla Fitzgerald....Continue Riparadise Beloved Beautiful Queen..🙏🏾💜🌹..

Isn't it strange for us, that know about how HUGELY FAMOUS she was, that we even need to try to convince a person to check her out? She was literally EVERYTHING for sooo long. How did that happen that we need to tell someone to "look into Marilyn Monroe"??? You know what I mean?

Marilyn Monroe is among the most famous American actresses. She was also a singer and model who has widely been reported to have a higher IQ than the world’s geniuses like Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawkins.
Born on June 1, 1926, Marilyn faced a troublesome childhood and even had to grow up in an orphanage before living with 11 sets of foster parents. However, the “dumb blonde” was among the brilliant minds in the world’s history, which helped her through all these challenges.
She rose to be one of America’s most prominent people in the film industry.

Marilyn Monroe had such a sad story. Married to baseball great Joe DiMaggio for a while but he loved her forever. She died of an overdose at age 36. They ruled it a PROBABLE suicide. Theories have circulated forever about her death being a homicide by the Kennedy's or for the Kennedy's because she was having an affair with John and/or Robert & knew things she shouldn't. She was such a beauty & great talent but to live such a sad life & horrible end is terrible. Elton John wrote CANDLE IN THE WIND for her. You should check out that song. She was a beauty, for sure.

Marilyn's screen persona was perfect for this role. The movie script is based on a book of the same name which was a scandalous hit when it came out, because the main character was a gold-digger who lived happily ever after. Bad girls were supposed to get punished! The book is light-hearted satire, and that's reflected in the movie, which is pure classic Hollywood production. I don't think any other movie captures Marilyn's special charm so well.

" The only thing we have in common is our hair color and I wont become a victim".... Madonna pays homage to Marllyn Monroe who brought sexuality of Women out in her day even posing nude for Playboy.. .. So Madonna if you see all her different looks and styles are actually styles and looks she is paying homage too from Women of the past who never where given credit for being so stylish or ground breaking. Madonna continues to do that in her style now. She always pays homage to the women who came before her and paved the way for her success such as her IDOL Marilyn Monroe.

She had a tricky relationship with the director because she was really nervous - in fact she was always nervous whenever shooting a scene, she kept asking for her acting coach to be on set with her while rehearsing or filming and that kept annoying the directors - she'd do a scene, the director would like it, she'd ask if they could do it again because she didn't think she'd done so well, he'd get annoyed with her. The other star of the movie Jane Russell was a lot more understanding and sympathetic for Marilyn, she even became something of a go-between for them.
You'd never know that Marilyn was nervous or unhappy offscreen watching her onscreen though, would you?

The film is a comedy with Jack Lemon and Tony Curtis dressing up as females, I won't give away the plot, but I've seen it quite a few times over the years, you'll find quite a few songs in films from yesteryear which you've more than likely heard but didn't know where they came from, much like your reactions with Queen who wrote and recorded on a few films

"Aren't you funny? Don't you know that a man being rich is like a girl being pretty? You might not marry a girl just because she's pretty, but my goodness, doesn't it help? And if you had a daughter, wouldn't you rather she didn't marry a poor man? You'd want her to have the most wonderful things in the world, and to be very happy. Well why is it so wrong for me to want those things?"
