That's true, the v6 is the better choice
I'm not sure if the 406 Coupe version has a fuel filter or not, but in the sedan and SW versions the filter is in a rather stupid place, we can say, having to loosen two screws on the fuel tank to access it.
Yeah that's what the manual shows.. sadly there aren't any 406 coupé manuals out there that i could find
Sir I have a 2000 2.0 406 facelifted version SV one. I have no idea how can and how should I maintain the car. My cars condition is worse than yours right now :) Can you suggest me forums, videos or ideas to maintain my good old 406... Love your work btw 406 coupe is one of my my dream cars
Hey,
If you have no experience servicing cars at all you should start by doing some research into how everything should be done properly, youtube is a great resource if you find the right channels, i can recommend ChrisFix for all the stuff you may need to do.
In any way i would recommend you search for the correct service or repair manual for the car, as i mentioned there isn't one i could find for the coupé so i used the one from the normal 406.
Keep in mind that you will need to jack up the car and jackstands or ramps to keep it there, stay safe and if in doubt, seek a professional for help.

Man, I have been driving my 406 for 5 years and this is the first time I saw cabin air filter is supposed to have a plastic thing over it. Is it possible for you to share that 3d file? Nice video by the way.
Yeah i wouldn't have noticed either but the old one had it from factory so i copied those.
