Honestly, Fly Away was…okay for me. Not exactly a song I like to replay often. This one? Goddamn, I can’t get enough. Definitely solidified Sozos as a great lead, and it will surely live rent free in my head and play on repeat for at least week
It's nice to hear the new singer in songs written for his voice. Hearing him sing the old songs just never sounded right to me. I do think this is better than Fly Away.

Yeah. I saw them live in January, and while it lacket a little bit, except for when they sang this song, Thomas was known as not that great live, while Sozos didn't miss a not at all.
You'll see this with a lot of bands that change vocalists. Usually, that's because the band has to restructure their music to the singer's voice. Thomas a had a gritty, loud voice, so the band had to compensate for that, resulting in a heavy sound. With Sozos, they can play less heavy and more melodic, as that is what fits best with his voice. This is why you hear such a disconnect with the old songs, compared to the new ones: they were simply not written with his voice in mind. It'll take time for Sozos to tailor his voice to the band's heavier songs. He seems to be doing just fine, from what I've seen.
Haha perfect example - look at blaze bayley for iron maiden. He struggled so much to sing the songs that had high a register but the two albums he was on, much lower and heavy and fitted him much more. So far I’m loving what I hear from the new guy 😂
As someone who watches a LOT of reaction content... I wish to give just a bit of advice. Your lack of pausing? very nice. But please tweak your audio balance to favor the media over yourself. Something along the lines of a 60/40 split. Otherwise? Quite a nice job and I wish you luck.

(spoilers for the story) still wish Tom was here, I didn't really care for the story of this album since at the end everything is erased and I think they fumbled some great ideas such as double wizard. Sozos isn't a bad singer but Tom just sings with so much more emotion and melody. I think this song is Sozos' best, however, I would really like to hear Tom do a cover although I doubt that will happen.
Sozos is a way, way better singer than Thomas. Thomas can try his screams ten times in the studio and with a lot of production help he sounds good on the album. Sozos always sounds amazing.
