I remember listening to these every morning on my way to school as a kid. My mom would tell my sister and me to be quiet and she would turn the radio up. They were always so funny
Best commercials EVER. They changed it to Real Men of Genius in 2001 because after 9/11, firemen were considered super heroes and bud didn’t want to be seen as mocking heroes
So crazy, I was just explaining this to someone tonight at the bar and they didn't get it. ...granted, they were born in 1999 and had no idea what I was talking about in the first place, but still, so glad someone else still remembers...
Well bud light shouldn't have changed it They should have made some about fire fighters, emts, police our military and our president I no times were hard for everyone all American pride
Hell yea. Before the age of youtube, I downloaded as many as possible into my HUGE "Ipod" otherwise known at the time as the Creative Juke Box. Bit of trivia for you, but the reason they went from "Real American Heroes" to "Real Men of Genuis" was because of 9/11. They felt that, at that period in time, making jokes about "Real American Heroes" was absolutely inappropriate considering actual American Heroes lost their lives in the most horrible ways (crushed, burned alive, forcing a plane to crash for the greater good, etc). They actually had a good PR department back then. These days? Not so much.
Lost 80 percent of these on my computer - probably due to all software updates - then I came across this on my T.V. YOU SIR ARE A STEELY-EYED MISSLE MAN ! Thank you so much for taking the time to post these gems of humour.
These were great. You never knew what craziness they would say. Nothing like spitting coffee on your windshield on your way to work. "We are all gunning for Mr. Ball picker upper!"😂😂
So much nostalgia. Saturdays spent driving around town with my boyfriend (now husband) listening to good music on the radio. I even miss the commercials. Thanks for the upload!
It's hard to find the ones that said real American hero before they change them to real men of genius... I was working at a warehouse and every time one of these would come on we would stop working and listen to it and just bus stop laughing these were so great
First heard these when I was 13 in Australia my brother had a cd full of them and I was absolutely hooked everytime I see a pair of jean shorts I still salute you Mr Jean shorts inventor.. "jorts"
I used to get a kick out of these adverts when I heard them on the radio. They used to make me laugh. Just a few years ago, I heard one of these on an online radio station, which seemed to suggest that they could have still been used up to that point.
Absolutely amazing :) Gives me always smile. Where have this creative commercials gone? The life back then seemed to be more about enjoying. What happened to mankind :)

These, and the Foster's how to speak Australian commercials were the peak of 90's, and early 00's commercial genius!
Oh man, idk how I forgot about those Fosters ads (maybe old age) but yeah those were great also! 🤣
These were great. You never knew what craziness they would say. Nothing like spitting coffee on your windshield on your way to work. "We are all gunning for Mr. Ball picker upper!"😂😂
Best part of any morning drive.
I REMEMBER these radio commercials, and I think this was back in the ‘90s! I used to crack up hearing them while out cruising--drinking a Bud.
Lol it’s like a GTA commercial
Fun Fact: The singer was Dave Bickler from the band Survivor, most known for "Eye Of The Tiger" from "Rocky III".
This just randomly popped into my head after 20+ years. I'm glad I'm not the only one. I used to hear these on the school bus every morning.
Ahh the late 90s and early 00s boy I miss those days...
Ah yes. When people had thicker skin & it was ok to be funny. Now people would say the Chinese food delivery guy was a racist commercial.
Takes me back to HS years 99-03 when I use to hear these commercials on KAFF country 92.9 ahhhh great times! And greats times listenin to the radio!
Each one a one minute gem! Thanks for uploading these..
Awe man I remember I nearly pissed my pants when I first heard " Mr Taco Salad Man Creator". All these are gold
Thats still my favorite, just love the line "is your taco salad healthy, of course it is, it's a salad, isn't it?"
