FINALLY A DECENT WALK-THROUGH! Every one I look at just speeds through and never shows you how many boxes they have through certain points of the level. Thank you sir!
For anyone struggling at the beginning try using a sliding jump to get across the rows of boxes, it means when you return the last group of boxes are all intact and you have a much better chance of landing on them safely also don’t worry about getting every box you can get them once you get on the little boat with no worries at all.
This level is actually vehemently stressful. On top of the precise platforming, everything is going twice as fast. You start to question whether they actually bothered to test the game before releasing it what with how much padding they actually packed into it. Levels like this are what makes this game a chore to play and it could've used a little less of gimmicks considering how much they introduce level by level and how the game expects you to master it in the same 6 - 8 minutes. It's ridiculous.
The minor and rare control bugs all happen to me on this level during the food truck (boat?) bit. Wouldn't be so bad but the crouching Crash drops like a lead balloon. That and getting the timing wrong so I slide off the platform instead of crouch!
Is the boxcount in this level glitched or something? I had 88 after the bonus level and 105 by the checkpoint but ended up at 271 by the end. Meanwhile next run, I had 88 after the bonus level and only 102 by the checkpoint despite doing nothing differently. What the HFIL?
Not sure, but I think there is a problem with Bats with Nitros. When it dropped one of them it didnt count for me. Checked the entire video. All the boxes. 1 missing :(

How the hell did you one shot the intro part of the level? I have so far died 50 times trying to navigate back to the beginning to the hoverboard after getting the four boxes. Every time I attempt to jump backwards from the drifting platform I get hung up on some damn invisible wall
@toangreenlow2229 not at all! Lmao. I was only able to collect all of the gems. Trying to %106 complete the game was far too difficult of a taste for me to feasibly accomplish.
Once you have realised the hell of Toxic Tunnels then this level is a breeze. I remember the first time playing this it felt like the most ridiculous level ever...but after The Crate Escape and Toxic Tunnels this seemed far easier on the second run through lol
At the last checkpoint (before the finish) you need to have 222 boxes, NOT 218...I tried it the way you did and at the end I didn’t have all the boxes.
Then it sounds like you missed some at the end. In theory, you should only have 217 at that point. A bat dropped a Nitro box earlier on in my guide, so my counter is always 1 more than normal after that point.

At 2:03 you asked if slide jump would work... and Yes I just tried it and it works, after getting the 1-UP or the fruit you can slide jump to next post. But I'm sure you don't need to do that cuz you must've got two Platinums by now :)
You don’t have to have a perfect run without any deaths and all boxes in the N verted mode to get the throphy right? Just get all the 6 gems, doesn’t matter in how many runs? Or is it like the ‘normal’ levels that you also have to get a perfect relic?
There is only one N Sane trophy per level, so you can get it on either normal or nverted. I just chose to do both for the sake of the guide, to show that it's possible.
Some of them are extremely obnoxious. I love Crash 4, but there are several hidden gems where I rolled my eyes when I found them. Not clever, just annoying.

I believe it was always like that, actually. I know in the N. Sane Trilogy remasters that's how it was. It's been a long time since I played the PS1 versions, though. Would have to go back and check.
Those perfect relics can kiss my ass! 😂 Idk how the hell it would even be REMOTELY possible to collect all of those...considering some of things you're required to do...it's a joke honestly...the most bs thing about the game in my opinion.
@toangreenlow2229 Yea… Toxic Tunnels is pretty bad… but I’m worried about the polar levels… there’s no way in HELL I would ever get a perfect relic on those cuz of how janky the polar bear is to control and how easy it is to mess up… and that is a VERY infuriating level to start over and over again… I honestly don’t know HOW anyone would get a perfect relic on either of those levels…
At the point where you check your boxes and you're at 139, I had only 137, which meant I had to have missed some earlier, even after all the fuck I had to go through to even get that far in the level, so I ragequit the game/console...
@@MarianaOliveira-nq1qt You don't need to solve it. Just keep going to the end and hopefully you got everything anyway. Me as well, damn this walkthrough is outdated haha. I got all crates in the end, he must have broken some nitro crates that we didn't realize.
I had the same issue but I got to the end and got the gem for all the boxes. I think it might just be a weird glitch. I don’t know lol. Very frustrating when you are trying to get all the boxes
The worse level in the whole game i swear because those water vortex and the water move so fast it is very difficult to get all boxes without losing a live

It’s hard but that’s what makes it so much fun. Screaming at it then rage quitting. Then getting back to it more determined

You can, in fact, sliding double jump the gap. Figured after death 42 I might as well give it a try. 🤣

You can slide jump and skip waiting for the box to slide in your direction to get that 1 up crate but it’s a nightmare to land

Is it just me or is Mosquito Marsh harder on N. verted mode? I feel like Crash or Coco fall faster

You have 88 boxes after the bonus you smash 15 boxes and somehow your on 104
