Insane content, as a d1 adc main i feel stumbled on how simple yet intelligent these tips are (not pushing one wave cuz 6 minions not enough to get plates: how did i not think of that?!?! xD)
haha bro as 200 lp master adc these tips are pretty useful, although i do use them myself before watching this video, but spacing and the perfect execution they have, its flawless, and ofc the hardest thing is knowing exact range of each champ in every matchup so that you can play it so precisely like this
@@TodayOnTheSuperServer how keria supports 👀? Roaming/ward/prio? Tried to do the UA-cam money comment but can't find it on channel. Thanks again for the vids
Slightly, yes, but I do think they didn't have too many other options considering the matchup. Unless you know how Viper and Meiko could've played this better?
the auto being 'out of range' is probably because individual units have their own hit box. so it works off of whether the range touches the champion/unit, not if it is on the center of the unit.
mechanically there is no laning phase harder than bot. jg is astoundingly more difficult macrowise as you have to track the enemy jgs movements and make choices quickly. top is mainly about effective trading and pushing with an emphasis on 1v1s. a midlaner's job is pretty much try to permapush and roam
2:52 - This is one of the most useful things people do rarely in lower elo, or they do it and don't understand why. The slow push is achieved because enemy minions focus one creep after Lulu loses aggro, causing that one minion to die faster and thus there being less damage to attack enemy creeps, so they end up pushing towards your turret faster.
im curious if there's online courses in chinese about league, seems like they can break it down to an understandable science. NA courses like skillcapped suck.
Haha I'm sure Skillcapped is also great. But I agree, we have lots of champion guides on Na. Not so much guides on getting better as a player. There are not much guides that breaks down laning phase. High elo players in China that understands the game make much more money boosting. They wouldn't spend time on making guides.
Lane control is almost always decided by strongest lvl 1. Things that decide strongest lvl 1 are ADC matchup (mostly who has highest range) and supp matchup (range and/or dmg lvl 1). After lvl 1 it's a combination of who's strongest and has faster waveclear; range matters a bit less because melees tend to get online around lvl 3. Though in low ELO, it mostly gets decided by who trolls first/the hardest 😅
6:30 why do we hardshove the 6 minions wave here ? You said previously, that we only hardshove when we have set up a slowpush, in order to crash the wave and get plates /a recall. But here no waves is stacked and you hardshove it, why ? You mentionned herald timing right after, but i don't understand how showing that wave and herald are related
Play safe before lvl 3. Normally shorter range Adcs have higher burst and more kill pressure. You can one shot enemy adc with sup cc if they walk too far up. Another thing you can do is cheese them lvl 1. This is the same as Qiyana vs mage. You want to avoid trading, stay healthy for that lvl 3 all in.
Calibrum aphelios has more range than miss fortune, meaning if he spaces properly (i.e only attacking when mf is just outside his auto attack range), he can ensure miss fortune cant auto him back
And even with equal range, you can use tethering and prediction to AA without getting hit back (you turn away right before they turn toward you, and AA right before they turn away again)
Im starting to learn how to play adc but i notice how far Guma Keria are in the lane. How are they allowed to be so far up when enemy jungler is Talon and can literally hop over walls to gank? If someone could explain to me that would be great. Im aiming to learn.
They track down Talon's jungle pathing to know where he is. That's the jungler's role (because less focus needed + knows how to do it), and you can bet he's dispensing information through voice com.
0:09 Its not wrong Auto Attacks range only needs to "touch" the *Edge* of the enemy champion hitbox It looks like the enemy is outside the indicator, when in reality the indicator is touching the hitbox edge, therefore your champ can AA Try it in practice tool. Increase the health and size of the dummy so it becomes more obvious
what do you mean bro? what he calls "wrong" is being closer than the minimum required, its "wrong" to get ur enemy over your range line, its "perfect/correct" to keep him a lil bit outside, as you said, only to hit his hitbox.
The hitbox of any champion is actually a circle around their feet (which is why some people say blue side is stronger than red since you'll be aiming for their feet anyway and it's way clearer whether they are actually in range or not) but as you said, the shown AA range doesn't actually have to overlap with that hitbox to be able to hit someone. I'm not sure if the two ranges have to touch or there can even be a little gap; regardless, the shown AA range is a bit deceptive in that sense. It's even worse for a lot of ability indicators
Depends on: How they trade (Q+AA is approx same dmg for both, maybe slightly MF favored) If MF chooses CS or trading If caster creeps hit either of them Whether Lulu can hit/shield as well And the timing of the Polymorph
@@TodayOnTheSuperServer nah idk if he wanted probally would stay right side but tnx anway! But I have another question, do you know something about bot synergy and combos? How can you know what to pick what is best what combo wins lane vs other and etc stuff?
Guma's older brother was a professional StarCraft and StarCraft2 player, INnoVation who also played for SKT in 2013-2017. (INnoVation met young Faker). Growing up, Guma probably played StarCraft as well, so he's probably used to having mini map on the left side like in StarCraft.
It really comes down to experience and what champion is strong in the meta. For Tier 1 bot lane, Lucian nami, Jinx Tahm, Ezreal Karma, Caitlyn Lux, Aphelios Thresh. Normally, you would pick cc sup with short ranged adc as they have more burst. For longer range, you are suppose to pair up with enchanter. As both longer range and enchanter are stronger in early and late game.
Just like melee vs. melee and ranged vs. ranged matchups in solo lanes, stronger lvl 1 (if well-executed) gets early control! There are more reasons, but it's mostly because their lvl 1 is way better: Aph green gun outranges MF Lulu is a lvl 1 bully (way more than Yuumi): Yuumi's only damage is Q which is both harder to hit than Lulu Q/E and can't go through minions, and Lulu has a very strong AA with Pix Having a Yuumi means focusing on 1 person is usually way easier for Aph+Lulu Aph+Lulu can also usually get wave control more easily because Yuumi does very little damage to minions. Once you get a minion advantage lvl 1 it's way harder/impossible for the enemy to get it back soon. Of course, you can still completely roll people with a Yuumi, but with approx. equal skill lvls like here, Yuumi is more sustain-and-scale oriented during laning and takes way more time to rack up damage, and Lulu is more bully-and-scale, which gives control over the wavestate.
Not everything that the pro player does is benefiting himself, this video is on bias. For example, 4:21 in the video is effective recall timing but the time he pushed one more wave to upset Missfortune is unnecessary and inefficient. The map information doesn't give him the comfort to do so (poppy is not at btm side and talon never show on map).
He knows Talon started topside. He was actually spotted lvl 1, you can see his items 0:14 + TF ward lvl 1 spots him quite early skipping raptors so it's probably Blue -> 1 camp/full clear top -> Red - unfortunately we don't see his CS at that point to know for sure. Poppy got bot side Scuttle because of mid+bot prio so he probably had to go topside for Scuttle somewhere before basing. So at that point, he should be on his way to do a 2nd clear topside-down (danger ping 4:05). Though even without spotting him, starting botside would be troll because of invades with the prio + a perma pushing enemy botlane and high dive risk with Yuumi vs TF/Poppy + how safe Kennen is with no CC from Talon/Jayce and Jayce being a scaling champ. Jungle tracking is hard!! (Maybe there's also something there with TF almost hitting 6 but that's a bit of a wild guess)
