The sac ability on Festival of Embers means you can get your graveyard loaded up with spells, play Festival, recast those spells, and then sac it so you're not exiling every single card you play from then on.
You completely misunderstood the Stormsplitter card. It is absolutely busted in the right list, as each copy also copies itself. For example:
1 spell = 2 otters
2 spells = 4 otters
3 spells = 8 otters
4 spells = 16 otters
Add in Bria or an anthem or two (never mind goblin Bombardment/Impact Tremors) and the opponent is very dead by 3 spells, as all the copies have haste.
Also, we are getting a ton of great lizards that are also outlaws. Rakdos outlaw lizards is going to be a real problem:
1 drops: Hired Claw + Iridescent Vinelasher
2 drops: Gev + Valley Rotcaller
3 drops: Jasper Flint + Thought-Stalker Warlock + Hearthborn Battler
Well if you can cast a lot of instants or Sorceries, it IS exponential growth on Stormbreaker. 2,4,8,16, etc. So you could get a lot of stuff done with that, plus whatever the cheap spells you're casting do.
Portent of Calamity DOES need you to hit 4 different types, otherwise you won't exile 4 cards. Casting it for X = 4 will only get a free spell if you set your top 4 up ahead of time.
You would sacrifice Festival of Embers because you put a bunch of spells you cast from the Graveyard on the stack, and you don't want them to get exiled. So you sac the festival instead (which will exile it).
11:25, so you can fill the graveyard up more, since if a spell is cast form ANYWERE even your hand it gets exiled... as in NOT the graveyard so can't then use its ability to cast it
the stuff like serra redeemer and collassalificaiton is for the starter decks and not in main set/non-canon
If your graveyard runs dry you would want to sacrifice Festival of Embers so you can start putting stuff in your graveyard again.
Bojoku bog ruins your graveyard deck plus several graveyard hate cards. It was always a flawed strategy.

If I'm right, and you have draw restrictor (like Narset) in play and you gift them a card then they don't draw and you still the extra effect right??

Mind spring is so close to (reserved list) brain geyser...
Same colour, same cmc, same effect ALMOST (you cannot let another player draw cards like you can with brain geyser)
Stormbreaker is actually busted
Colossification is already a card. Old. There are so many throwback cards and basically repurposing. Hope you like collecting magic cuz they're going to bankrupt everything before it's done.
