That's a great story David Paich asks Walter Becker "What are you reading these days?"
And Walter says " Children's Nursery Rhymes, Look"
And it was Georgie Porgie Puddin' Pie !
    And Toto Recorded It !
OMG I love this Docu-Series with all these great Piano Players.

David Paich, in my opinion, is one of the best piano/keyboard players I have heard. His solos are incredible! My late and great husband, T Lavitz would agree. David has got to be one of the most well rounded person, composer, and musician a person could aspire to be.

Agreed. People like to pee on the Toto boys but the entire band especially Paich, Lukather and Steve Porcaro are still among the worlds best players on their respective instruments.

He makes that thing talk!!! He also makes it look easy!! It's no surprise though, coming from one of the best keyboard players and songwriters from one of the best bands on earth!!!

David totally fits in on this series, let me tell *you*! During his Ray Charles emulation, he practically bends that piano like an electric guitar!

Damn , when David raves about Ray Charles ..... then he plays some stuff that is not only Mind bending but also Note bending . toward the very end of his improv he makes it sound like there is a Pitch bend . Genius Player

I bought my 73 about 20 years ago from a guy in SF. He said his dad was friends with DP and Toto had owned it. I’d love to know if it was in any recordings.

Loving the sound of the Silvertop Paich is playing in this video. Very unique and warm tone. Weren't these made in the 60s with the wooden hammers?
