  • Talking Voicings!
In this video we are working our way up (the tines move down actually) from pure fundamental to pure overtone and passing the ideal setting as well.

I love that little tune, and all the voicings sound good to me.

just installed one of your preamps in my mkII suitcase & replaced the hammer tips and revoiced/tuned it at the same time. It is like playing a new piano! I especially love the ability to switch between mkI & mkII voices.

Can you make a video showing how and what spacing to adjust to for getting the idel setting featured in this video for an OEM rhodes?

Fascinating....I always wondered what the Rhodes looked like inside and how it worked. Although I didn't understand what you actually did to make the voicing changes between each sample.

Moving the upper screw, bro! You can change all the sound only with that.

Adjusting the strike line changes the sound too. The voice settings can make it sound Wurlitzer at times.

It may take along time to get the sound you want but it's well worth it

You ain't kiddin brother. Oh the hours I've spent adjusting tines and tone bars and pickups to get the sound I like.

Even more overtone 1:56 was the best.

Same, it worked in a clickbait-kind of way.
But still, big up to musician!

    What year is this Rhodes?

Most likely it's a Mark 1 from 1978 or 79. You can tell from details like the metal harp support and the logo on the name rail.
