This is the first song you hear when you start the game, and the Resistance is drawing its last dying breaths. It shows the might of Neo Arcadia army, and there is a constant siren going on the background through the entire track, simbolizing the Resistance being hunted down by the chasing troops, backing them into a corner. Slowly though, as you progress through the game, Zero is beginning to retaliate against Neo Arcadia, the Resistance is no longer defending themselves, they are attacking through Zero. Now the sirens embody a different meaning. The sirens are no longer meant to be pursuing reploids. They are being attacked in their very own structures and this is a warning to get ready, prepare, run. Zero is coming for them.
@@kyledharma6920 Mega Man 11's pre order bonus was eventually released as stand alone DLC, so I can kinda see the same possibility happening with The Zero/ZX Legacy Collection as well.
Zero started his final adventure shooting at a rusty robot with a crappy gun in a cramped room and ended it with stopping Weil and the space station itself that's about to fall onto earth. That's the kind of progression that keeps me going.
This remix is *god-like* For real,I wasn’t expecting it to be this good.IMO,the Crash remix is one of the few remixes(from Reploid Remixes)that’s actually good
A lot of the new remixes took out the tone and feeling of the originals. The remastered soundtracks and the mythos soundtrack did better IMO. Crash, Trap phantasm, and Trail on powdery snow were honestly the only ones I really liked. The rest were just average.
Kyle Dharma Trap Phantasm lost too many tones for me to really enjoy it. That low bar synth undertone leading to the main part of Phantasm was removed in the remix, so Crash is the clear winner for me.
Terror and desperation. They bleed from this music as freshly as wounds sustained during the battles this theme plays. But when you get better at the game? That terror and desperation morph into determination... and the thrill of the fight. It's amazing that this track can convey this so effectively. Thank you for extending it.
This is easily one of the best Crash remixes Capcom has ever made, easily better than Crash III and IV (never been a fan of those) and far better than the Idea version (a special remastered version of the song Capcom made years ago). The only issue I had is the 0:13-0:26 section, which was only repeated once instead of twice unlike the originals. It feels odd imo. (And maybe some background choir throughout the song like the original Crash I and II seem to have) Other than that, it's amazing and perfectly captures the sense of dread and urgency Crash I and II had.
I always wanted a remix of crash in the style of the first 2 versions. I like Crash III and IV, but they don't really feel like the same song, especially Crash IV. I'm glad this version is more like the first two and I would go on to call this Crash V.
As soon as I heard this remix it immediately became my new favorite boss theme in all of Megaman. It gives the feeling of danger and panic. Plus I’m a huge fan of electronic music.
It's actually one of very few remixes of Crash which understand that those are supposed to be *sirens*. However, I still kinda prefer the gritty original GBA sound for them, because they sounded like a desparate, mechanical breathing. It just catches the whole desperation and dystopy of the setting better.
I doubt Capcom have any plans for that right now. They're probably planning production for a StarForce Legacy Collection later on since the Battle Network Legacy Collection just dropped today. If they're gonna make a third ZX game, I doubt it will drop for another few years, if not a decade.
That's why I love the Megaman series and I'm waiting for the new part. Wonderful enjoyable gameplay. Interesting story. And very pleasant and cool music.
I played this for my 2nd playthrough on hard mode and oh boy. I don't think I would have enjoyed fighting bosses in that mode If it wasn't for this banger.
