A humble confidant person with seemingly great integrity speaks volumes over a loud boisterous person. Clay Hayes is that person. I've loved your content from day one. Keep kicking ass my man!
Before I even watch this, I know it's gonna be great! Clay is pretty much my inspiration for switching to Trad this year and I even made my own longbow last winter.
Felt like you are both speaking to me. Onto my first elk hunt in CO and ive only hunted whitetail. Ive been racking my brain on how i was going to stay quiet while walking miles on miles a day. Just getting me more excited to go out.
Amazing life style he lives.... His wife has to have the UP most confidence in her husband and her abilities to pull it all together. I like to think my wife and I are half way there, after 21 years... Love the content and would love to see elk shape take a stab at the trad life next elk season with clay
Retired, hunted 246 hours in a tree stand last fall. 28 days straight it’s a grind but enjoyable. You need a understanding wife also as Dan would say family first. Waited my whole life to retire and hunt till I drop ain’t nothing better!!🏹🏹🏹

Awesome interview. Clay needs to do more podcasts. Long time viewer of you both.
Great podcast love Clay Hayes and Elkshape. Would love to see Tarl from Gunshy Archery on the show
Great interview. Fen's hog and Coy's moment with dad are so endearing. My favorite elk hunt video is 2019. It just has some of everything.
My boy Dan @elkshape getting props from both Cam Hanes and Joe Rogan in the first 5 mins of the JRE todayn
Excellent video! Clay is one of the real ones!!
No doubt!
This was absolute gold.
Great Podcast Congratulations Clay God has truly blessed you

Very rewarding to watch 👍🏻
I’ve been watching clay for many many years for his instructional grad stuff. The dude is a stud and I was also rooting for him hard on alone.
That is one cool dude right there!
I've never heard of him before...

Great podcast, I’ve always been pulled by the lure of trad bowhunting but can’t give up the compound! Lol
Sounds tuff having to get up and go hunting every morning for a month 😢
