I'm a 49 yr old husband and father of 3 with a long career as a vice president of commercial insurance, and this kid sings this masterpiece that hit me like a truck. First, because I'm an overthinker who has suffered from imposter syndrome all my life. I smiled with confidence on the outside but I have an internal war going on in my crazy mind. I also think my one son also suffers from low self-esteem and imposter syndrome even though he is extremely athletic and gifted with speed. This song touches every fiber of my being. WOW.

I just went back to the audition video. There, he looked like a dead-ringer for James Veitch.
Looks don't matter, and certainly shouldn't in a singing competition, but his whole demeanor is morphing right in front of our eyes! He's proving he's got the whole package.

If some label does not pick him up they are not thinking from their inner soul...a person that write lyrics this quick about something that many of us feel is amazing ..it makes great songwriters. I hope to hear a song of his in a movie. Sometimes the universe brings us a diamond in the rough...he was not even supposed to be where is right now...the universe said let's let the talent be seen in this moment...I will play this song for my tennis kiddos on the court that doubt themselves. He is what I would have listened to growing up but I feel I have grown out of. That being said, his voice felt like it transported me back in time. He really has a raw emotion to him that cuts through. Like his voice feels somewhat simple and typical. But there's something about the way he delivers, and especially writes, that is just so relatable that you can really feel.
