Honestly my favourite phone! Last time I felt this good about a phone was the Huawei P30 Pro.
Are the cameras better then the p30 pro you would say?
I agree. I recommend the 30 pro to a lot of people and does with this one to. It's a great phone altogether! 😊
@@HV55VN for sure 👌🏼 the camera are up there with the Samsung S24 Ultra and IPhone. My wife has the iPhone 13 Pro Max and my brother has the S24 Ultra so that's how I know.

Picked up a OnePlus 12 2 monthly ago, hands down the best phone to date I've owned! Switched from Samsung user, now definitely staying with OnePlus!!

Hubby has the OP12 & loves it. But it has one issue - apps sometimes randomly close when he's typing a message in Gmail, WhatsApp, messenger etc. He bought it from Wonda (Global Version). Anyone else have this issue & know how to fix it please?

@@jodaniel2361 I've not experienced this. Hopefully they fix that in the next update. I've been with OnePlus for many years and the update process can be a bit slow.
I’m so glad that other phones haven’t started adopting the ONLY ESIM feature that Apple has…this phone is a gem of a phone , great battery life, beautiful screen and Super smooth UI
i was one of those people who was loyal to known brands like Samsung until it hits me and realize there is other brands who give same spec and sometimes even better specs with much better price and they even include charger in the box and at that moment i left the known brand matrix forever.

I find myself using the op12 more than my s24u. I just prefer the display and the charging speed is a game changer for me. the form factor and looks are unusually pleasing. I really like the weight and feel of the op12 especially with the sandstone case. The case's grip is unique and gives u confidence. It looks cool too😄

I was about to purchase a samsung S24, but Oneplus 12 changed my decision, had 2 say it is impressive 🙌

I'm an iPhone user back to the 3G early days, but I'm becoming bored with the iOS lineup's incremental updates. So early this year I pre-ordered the OnePlus 12 at a great introductory price here in Canada. I used the phone for three months, working my way through the transition from iOS to Android, and found it really wasn't a big issue to make the swap between ecosystems. Ultimately, I decided to return to my beloved iPhone 13 Pro, since it was just easier and more familiar, but here I am later in the year regretting selling the OnePlus 12. I got a good price when I sold the OnePlus 12, so it would only cost me about CA$150 to buy back in...and your review has fuelled that notion!
I can confirm this phone is a beast. So many good things about it. Special mention to the camera.
I was able to get it because Amazon offered 12 monthly payments with no interest. So I can keep my cheap SIM only deal going. Although everyone needs to be aware of CEX (in the UK). The 512gb version is £775, but unsurprisingly not many people trading them in.
I will say the one flaw I've noticed with this phone and I'm really picking. Is the scrolling/swiping up and down on menus (that can be on Facebook, other apps or system menus) seems heavy needing a really large swipe to get it moving. It's worse than my OnePlus 8pro. Hopefully, it will be improved with future updates.

@@addsfsds I think it's worth it as there were a couple things that just weren't good enough for me on my OnePlus 8pro. The OnePlus 12 has finally just polished all the little annoyances and is just so quick at everything and works. (Apart from Google messages sending 3 text messages when I've just sent once, but luckily don't really use texts any more). I doubt I will ever upgrade this phone as I can't see it needing to get better than this.
Also...IR blaster for the win. Love being able to shut down my devices before heading off to bed with my phone. I took for granted just how great IR blasters are until they went away on most devices.
totally agree. People are just stupid. Had 8 Pro, 11 and now 12 and happy with it. Never had any Samsung,just because it's ovepriced IMO and they don't even provide a charging brick for that price. Also had a Pixel 7 Pro, but tensor is junk, battery life sucks big time.

I agree, I want to switch from my Pixel 8 Pro to the OnePlus 12 but it's out of stock for the last 2 weeks in my country , hopefully next week it will be available. I love OnePlus OS and prefer it way more than OneUI that I had on my previous s21, s22u and s23u

@@TechWidz Finally switched to the OP12, no regrets, this phone is blazing fast and smooth, battery is rock solid and cameras really close to Pixel 8 Pro quality, the 3x zoom is better on the Oneplus.
It even feels slimmer and lighter

I have the OP 12. I love using it❤. Great phone. Poor software support here in Europe/Germany 😢. We have to wait too long to get the latest security patch. I'm still on april.
Overall a great phone that I love to use daily.

Thank you for giving this a 2nd chance. I'm torn between this and the vivo X100 pro. Similar specs but I guess it come down to the cameras. Which one do you feel has the better one?
I have the Vivo, hubby has the OP12. I also previously had the OP Open so have experienced of OP's OS. We've done some camera comparisons and while the Vivo is better in some situations, the OP is somehow easier to use, both as a camera & phone in general (guess it could just be my preference too). Funtouch OS on the Vivo global version is dire, feels basic, dated & clunky, I have to use a launcher. Whereas OP's OS feels premium out of the box. If I was spending my money again, I'd go for the OP12. The OP camera is awesome and I just prefer it as a phone experience in general. Hope this helps.

I was on the fence between the OP 12 and the Z60 Ultra, both 16gb ram and 512gb storage. They can be had for $750 each in the USA. Any strong opinion on that decision?
I lean towards OP12 because of the significantly better selfie cam for video calls with family. I have been burned by my Pixels too many times with bad cell and internet signal.
Love your review on the Oneplus 12 I'm getting mine next week and can't wait to customize it for my daily go to. Also really dig that Ps5 on the shelf there. 👍🏻

Isnt oxygen OS basically colorOS? I just moved from an oppo find x2 device to the OnePlus 12 and its basically the same imo, great software, amazing phone, can't complain 👍

For Samsung slightly better peak brightness and that's it, You can argue that s24 ultra feels slightly more premium but if you were in my shoes you would pick the oneplus 12
Uhm, I have to mention video recording in s24 ultra has better stabilisation.

Excellent phone but I'm getting frustrated The updates are rolling out slow oh my goodness and they have Wi-Fi 7,6E and all that Wait until you tried the individual app volume control and One more thing I want OnePlus to fix the icon problem with third party icon pack I'm a OnePlus 7 pro I used to use different icon now I can't edit it to my likens and I don't want to use a launcher You have to mention that D65 also it's a game changer too knowing that your phone is set to industry standard crazy
Completely agree oneplus such a large company I’m sure they could’ve made deals with carriers or even have it available in more retailers.

No trade in deals for the UK this year stopped me from buying one. Went for base Xiaomi 14 instead. Hopefully trade in deals back this year for OP13.

I love mine, I struggle between using this or my S24 Ultra and that's the honest truth. The OP12 just feels so good in my hands, and it does everything well. The S24 is incredible, but those sharp edges are my only gripe. The OP12 is so comfortable. I can't seem to part with either, so I'll keep my switching my sim card from phone to phone like a weirdo

I considered this but went for the xiaomi 14 ultra. Although it would be in a case.. I just really REALLY hate the look of the back of the oneplus 12, plus that green colour would be the only option for 512gb😐
Ive has mine since launch and im loving it. Definitely a slept on phone one of the best phones available
I have a OnePlus 11 , but i have replaced it with a xiaomi 14 . Why , because of the flat screen and the leica camera system. I'm very happy the xiaomi and until OnePlus give me a flat screen I'm not going back . They're hard to protect and give off glare from the edges . But i do like OnePlus phones , they're great .
i have it and its amazing, i had oneplus 8 and it was great, then i switched to S24+ , horrible and went back to oneplus 12 :D

I don't think it's a brand thing ,I think it's an update thing, they are just as bad as Motorola,they don't update their phone's properly especially their mid-range phones..
They will always be at the bottom..

I considered the OP12, but already have the Open and knew I wanted the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. Have to pick and choose due to available money. Probably not going to buy another phone until Mix Fold 4 or Open 2.

I had a Xiaomi few years back I found it very was bad in the software department as I couldn't side load apps was a big issue as I use UA-cam vanced at the time due to. Security feature. This was about 3 years ago though maybe they have improved.

Does the 16gb ram perform better then the 12 on s24u?
I can definitely say that the 16 is better, my fold 4 had 12 and would constantly close my UA-cam if I minimized and threw a game on or left it alone for an hour, my one plus open I can minimize, leave it for the whole day go back later and it's still on the same video I was watching.
Between the op12 and the vivo x100 pro origin os, which one would you recommend? I finally want a phone with good photos after struggling with a series of OP mediocre cameras for the past 10 years. Cheers!

Maybe you could compare the OnePlus 12 to the Find X7 Ultra? From what I understand the Find X7 Ultra is basically the same as the OnePlus 12 but more. I guess it doesn't really matter since I have the OPPO and think it's awesome. Better in every way than my S24U.

I own a OP12 and prefered it over Pixel 8 Pro, everything is so much faster, much more battery life, lightning charge. The pictures are almost as good.
How close are the cameras though? That's my main concern, I'm a stickler for best pics taken not s24u oversaturated stuff. Plus Google goodies....
Nice but where you getting not popular from? The OP12 has been pretty much universally praised by every tech reviewer and UA-camr on the planet as one of, if not the best flagship of 2024, taking into account performance, specs, charging, price etc etc. Of course OP doesn't compare to apple in sales, apple pretty much owns the entire north American phone market and oneplus parent company barely even pushes oneplus in asia as they already have oppo, vivo and Realme. ln india for example vivo is no.2 in sales behind Xiaomi and Realme is 4th and Oppo 5th . You can also buy the imported model of the OP12 for £600 in the UK without hassle on reputable sites like Wonda mobile, even has a warranty.

My S24 Ultra will go for a trade-in deal next year for next year oneplus phone. By then, Oneplus will come with a flat screen

Going from 0 to 50 percent charged in just 23 minutes. Not to mention the fact that the OnePlus 12 can charged wired with 80watts.

With no problem 7 a.m. till about 10:00 pm at night but I'm able to kill the phone today I guess I used it more it only made it from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at which point it was down to 20%

I bought it and my wife is currently using it as her daily driver. She's a Samsung loyalist but has yet to pull the trigger on the S24 Ultra.
I have a s24U I do think oneplus is better except for the zoom and the curved screen.

Well it's ip65, not ip68, and also it hasn't the highest pwm on any phone, because it has 2000+ pwm and Honor magic 6 pro has 4000+ pwm.
Despite this, it's probably the best flagship phone for the price of all the market.
