    For me, the ideas in ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxAfqpMLyFn37qcqUl0FAzqkkycQeXqrhP Plans were a starting point for building different sheds . Ryan gives ideas that allow an individual to draw nicest conclusions into the design and building of his or her own shed.

    Would it be possible to put this shed together without the floor? I am looking for an attractive shed for retrofitting over my pool equipment...

    Real Estate is in short supply nowadays and has required builders to go narrow and straight up. Housing has become saltine boxes standing on end.

      why not build 2 houses together so they are semi-detached houses? seems waste of space having them like 2 metres apart from each other. Yeah you have more windows but just looking at a wall of your neighbours house..Would also be easier/faster and cheaper to build them semi detached imo..

      @@marty3194 Not having to deal with a co-owner when shared portions need repair is work an extra $30k any day. (plus way less noise transfer)
      Good fences make good neighbours, but a shared wall does NOT a good fence make.

      It has more to do with large development companies looking to maximize profit per square foot of land. They use less land but generate more square feet of a building. And when people are gullible enough to buy the house why not. If you look in CFs videos it is clear there is plenty of land around this development, but it is most likely not owned by the developing company. All about profits.

    • @marty3194
      @marty3194 3 роки тому

      @@kevind1865 You dont have shared portions when semi detached and each own their own part, i know cause i live in semi detached house, when my 15 month old screams all night, my neighbour doesnt hear a thing with decent sound proofing. And a shared wall or a fence 2 metres away isnt much difference imo.

      @@webluke yeah i know, my house is located on a 23 house development where more than half is semi detached. Each semi detached house is on each side at least 3 metres from the other for driveway purposes. Most plots are here around 360 square metres and my house is around 200 square metres which is " big" compared to newer houses with plots around 250 m² and houses around 120m². i wonder what the plot area"s costs are over there

    So what kind of design/build screw up would require a wall like that to go in, like that?

  • @enderson460
    @enderson460 3 роки тому +4

    Hey @The Crazy Framer, do you think this giant wall could be build such as you built in the season 2 or in this case is different?

  • @bojangels3545
    @bojangels3545 3 роки тому

    They must really have a load to make that balloon wall 8inch center lvl 2x8. That wall is insanely heavy. I'd be tempted to sheet it to see if the crane would tip

    • @ykciR

      I just think they’re using LVL Because it’s a tall wall and lvl is super straight. Would be hard to get a Wall that long with any other lumber.

    That tall wall with 2x8 lvl 8” OC does not make sense at all.
    Why not build it same as the rest of the walls and tie the stairwell wall with continuous rim joist between floors. And block it nice.
    Save the money there and use 1/2” plywood instead of 3/8” osb for 24” OC trusses. I know it is not up to CF but these architects are stupid.
