You could say that too. But it's defined according to shariah not secular laws (legality) Chastity means not committing haram outside of marriage so I agree with you there. A zani can't marry a non zani. But maybe there's a difference if someone repents and doesn't expose his/her since to anyone but idk.

So, he's not to be taken serioysly as per al-Iftā'/Religio-Legal Research or al-Fiqh/Religio-Legal Analysis. 3. The only Known-Takhsas/Religio-Scholastic Specialty of al-Albānī was `Ulūm-ul-Hadīth/Narration-Science. Number-4: this is exactly how/why Muhammad (Peace be upon him) stated, "Don't be an Imma`ah/Dick-Rider.". (at-Tirmidhī)
