I'm African American so naturally my mom made me perm my hair to get it straightened and not have me crying. So before or after I got the perm(you have to get it redone every like six months) I got a weave and I took it out after one or two weeks because it was too itchy and a whole section of my hair was dead. So I had to cut of all the relaxed parts and go natural. Being is soooo painful and people are always trying to touch my hair and disrespect me ,it's kinda fun to be natural your hair is superrrr curly and it grows long and it's very fluffy. That was years ago and now my hair is longer . That's my worst "haircut"😅🙎

I have long straight hair. BUT OH BOI YALL DON'T EVEN KNOW! My hair is a mess, I also have pretty thick hair too, and every morning there's a hair mess!! I take 30min to an 1hr just making my hair straight and tangle free. Yay me.
ALSO there's this popular girl from my middle school who basically has hair like me and said "I don't have to brush my hair, when I wake up its straight and tangle free." LIKE WAT, HOW EVEN!!!

My hair is sooooo curly!!!! And on top of that is freaking thick!! Like soooooo thick!!! I've straightened my hair literally once! Freaking once! And I loved it! My hairdresser said that my hair is so beautiful and thick and that she wishes she had my hair. Yeah, NOPE! You do my want my hair, ha! You crazy!

This isn't a bad haircut story but an intense hair story. So I used to have really long hair, a little less than 3 feet, and I never brushed it. Why? Because I knew I never brushed it when my mom stopped doing my hair and I knew how bad the knots were, so there were was always a huge knot on the back of my head. I would hide it with buns and ponytails, and my hair was just disgusting... Anyways, this year I wanted my grandma to brush and braid my hair since in the past she managed to get through tough knots. But this time the notorious knot on the back of my head was bad, being a little larger than an apple. We spent 10 hours trying to get it out, and let me tell you it was the worst 10 hours of my life. Not to mention that I'm very tender headed (another reason why I never brushed). We managed to get everything brushed out except that knot, and it was a Sunday, so I would have to go to school the next day with a huge knot on the back of my head while the rest of my hair was straight and perfect. I can not stress enough how bad it was, it looked like a literal bird's nest; if you held it it felt like a bird's nest. Anyways we didn't know what to do because we couldn't cut it out without ruining other parts of my hair/cutting it out and having the back of my head super short (I didn't want a pixie cut). And apparently salons are usually closed on Sundays and Mondays. We did find a salon in the area that would be open the next day so we called them and confirmed. I would have to skip school for this damn knot. That night I braided my hair to keep it separated from the knot and redid the braid the next day. It was humiliating walking past several pedestrians and a restaurant with a huge knot on the back of my head and the rest braided. When we got into the salon turned out that they were open for just trims but they were so incredibly nice and took on the challenge. Several hairdressers had to work on me, some even at the same time, but they eventually got it out and my hair was around the middle of my back, but I did not want to deal with long hair, so now it's just above my shoulders and I've never been happier.
Moral of the story: BRUSH. YOUR. HAIR.

Omg the bed head with curly hair is a true struggle, especially when I wash it and don't put it in a pony tail after I'll wake up the next morning and my hair has puffed into an afro and the second I put a brush to it it turns to frizz and puffs out even more. And don't even get me started with humidity because that's a nightmare in itself.
My biggest hair struggle is that when I sleep I toss and turn a lot so when I wake up there's ALWAYS a HUGE knot in the back to I have to YANK my hair so I'm not late to school and get detention DUDE IT SUCKS AND IT HURTS SO BAD
You get detention for being late? In my school I'd you're late you have to get a tardy slip which tells the teachers why you're late

Sad hair story: Once when I was in kindergarten my mom cut my hair into a pixie cut, like, above my ears. Yeah. The girls didn't want to play with me because they said I looked like a boy and the boys didn't want to play with me because I was a girl. It was a very lonely year for me. To this day, I don't let my mom cut my hair. It's grown down to my elbows now!
