I'd say the Black Series Star Wars is kind of overpriced, you are paying about 20$ for decent articulation with a few accessories (looking at you, 50$ Dark Revan with poor *ss articulation with only 2 accessories). Marvel Legends is a little conflicted, they are overpriced with charging a full 20$ for no effort-placed figures such as Darwin (Bonebreaker Wave) & Cannonball (Wendigo Wave?), but they also charge only 20$ for spectacular figures such as Doctor Doom (Super Skrull Wave) or Beast (Retro), so Marvel Legends is kind of in the middle of perfectly priced and overpriced. Hasbro $50 sets never sell they get deep discounts and then sell. The only toys youll find at the store are mostly in the $10-35 range. Mafex and tamashii nations are Japanese brands that people import and then mark up even more. Theyre made specifically for adult collectors. People who have careers and expendable income. When I was going to college I had no interest in these things anyway. They don’t produce beer or women. Long story short be selective and buy directly from Japan idk

Lol no way you think mafex figures have worse articulation than the super articulated toy biz ones. Like yeah, it’s different, *because it’s better*. Mafex is worth the 60-70 bucks it costs to buy. The extra 20 is due to import costs from Japan.
It's crazy how the jada toys Chester cheetah is $25 and mafex and sh figuarts can go up to $115 and even more. You're definitely paying a massive premium like cmon now look at the Chester cheetah and look at mafex riddler.... even considering import costs and stuff like how is Chester cheetah a fourth of the price it's crazy
Jada makes good figures but mafex is worth 2-3x as much (which is what they cost before import costs). The riddler is a bad example because mafex actually keeps prices for their higher quality figures down by also selling figures that come with less stuff for the same price. For instance magneto and gambit cost the same as hush joker despite coming with a lot more stuff. Either way mafex figures are insanely high quality and overall better than jada. You can argue about value for money but the quality is undoubtedly higher.
FAX dont get me wrong the figures are good but at the end of they day THERE TOYs they have no reason for them to be that high. they should only cost 10-75$ MAX no reason for anyone to price a fig for 100+ dollars. yes good plastic but its 1 action fig they takes up less plastic then a lego set with 100 bricks, but cost the same??. not only that the market for action figures is low so not much people even want action figures anymore. if you by a fig for over 80$ just for you to pose the thing for the next 5yrs then your getting scammed
This guy, this non collector just called this super good figures “toys!?” What’s wrong with you these are not toys they are not made for children. Not trying to be rude

i mean you aint wrong, i will still be spending 50-90€ a figure of S.H.f because theyre neat
Honestly if that price is too much find a bootleg
The reason why toys are cheap now to is because
Toys are made to break so kids beg to get a another one
because they’re so greedy they don’t even care about the fans at all
Resellers, they make it any cheaper, they just buy more. Blame resellers. Eat the resellers.
100+ dollars for a figure with pieces that fall off when you slightly touch them (cough cough sh monster arts FW goji cough cough) is crazyy
People in the comments really defending $100 action figures 💀.You can’t use the “high quality” excuse since the quality control for these figures have gotten worse while the prices have gone up.
"A small price to pay for Salvation." Nah but fr tho toybiz was spoiling us with their figures nowadays you pay $28 bucks for a re-release of already crap figure but with less accessories HECK some come at that price and like NO ACCESSORIES BRO, I mean that's just Hasbro but still man
I mean SHF Kid Naruto is only 30 bucks yet he has better articulation than every Toybiz figure and comes with tons of accessories
Also Toybiz went bankrupt because they priced their figures so low
NOT SQUIDWARD VOICING THE NERD😭
I just want to play with a cool Spidey figure :(
That mafex Spider-Man man on Bing bad toy store is a bad example they are quite hard to get hold of now hence the price I paid around 70 dollars for mine and it is an incredible figure the best Spider-Man at that scale for sure
Japanese imports are normally a lot
I collect mafex. Shf. High end collector stuff. If you know what youre getting into. With the technical engineering going on with overseas products along with build and paint quality.
I mean GXK toys have decent prices
1:57 why do you have to call me out like that bro
Mafex are cheaper if you get them in Japan. The plastic quality is also better. Jada definitely makes great figures though.
@@yitterskitter5223 Yup. The plastic quality is way better.
SHF Kid Naruto is $30 tho
@@UchihaMadara-e6u Yeah, SHF has entry figures at good prices.
True that
Cheap plastic expensive price
i might of just paid 95 dollars for the same figure as my pfp but the suit is more blue and has a crappy plastic and made by hasbro
its because of adults
I want wall to go look at jakks pacific sonic 3 figures
I just copped mafex Ben Reilly for 200 🎉 (☹️)
fr
Bro shut up it’s just a hobby some people do and that doesn’t make people losers or nerds for liking it
Yeah, why
They are higher quality
What are you talking about the mafex is good
Bro mafex is superior what???? Toybiz figures are outdated, as they should be.
This guy, this non collector just called this super good figures “toys!?” What’s wrong with you these are not toys they are not made for children. Not trying to be rude
No
You have no idea what you are talking about. Do some research next time or do another thing if you just wanted a funny edit.

When figures cost a lot to make so they make them cost a lot 💀get a Brain
Your very very out of touch
