Love your work Boe! My biggest hate with supermarkets using plastic packaging on fruit and veg is that the same product without plastic is more expensive. How can a 1kg plastic bag of carrots be cheaper than 1kg of loose carrots in the same shop? Especially considering a whole extra product (the plastic) has been manufactured and added to the said sale, but yet it's still cheaper. Lots of consumers only care about price, not packaging, so the best thing Coles and Woolies could do would be make all the loose groceries cheaper than their bagged alternatives. Consumers will then automatically start buying less plastic ..
Only the second episode I have watched on this channel and its two from two. Excellent. It was only the other week out in the shed drinking that I thought about the picking up papers punishment. I think we as a society need a week we're everyone needs to pick up 1000 bits of rubbish. Might make people start to rethink their purchases decision.
@@theouterside Boe definitely is a legend. The small issue I find with picking up rubbish when I’m out is disposing of larger amounts without filling your own residential bin or some council bin that will end in the bin being too full and spilling anyway.
Good work by Boe for stepping up and doing this. I actually thought he had been running longer but great to see either way. Im with him about supporting and working with brands you actually believe in, there are some brands I might use knowing it is not the best but I will never want to be sponsored by because I would never want to promote them in that way, a certain other UA-cam channel lost a lot of respect from me when they were sponsored by one of these brands. Love the comments about the Ghetto Bird, chasing the stolen chopper, Welcome to Western Sydney.
Such a good point about picking up rubbish was a punishment, it was such a negative thing growing up, hopefully that has turned around now it should be taught as a good thing from a early age
Boe is a dead set legend!! Ive been camping and on a few cleanups when he comes over to w.a.....we have a recycling program in w.a so i gave them some plastic bottle and one gin bottle thats made of glass nope cant be accepted 🤦♂️🤦♂️
Boe is an absolute leader for 4wdrivers and conservationists together.
Positive thinker and a troopy legend 😉
Totally agree, such a great bloke. We need more people like him!

Totally agree, a lot of the decisions that the large supermarkets make, don't make sense.
I can't STAND packaged, precut corn when it comes in it's own packet 🤦♀️
Love this one, Boe is such an inspiring young man. Great work!
Thanks guys. He sure is, and he needs more support from all of us!
Will be getting GME radio now, good to hear that you care

Thanks mate, good to hear you're liking the conversations. That's a great idea, imagine the impact it would have!
Another great podcast Tony, really enjoyed listening to this one.
Thanks mate! Boe is an absolute legend and great to talk to - I'll definitely have him on again in the future.

Heading to Cape York from VIC next year, and I'm absolutely getting behind this cause! Fantastic idea.
Agreed. We need all of the community to support him!

The ghetto bird is a Western Sydney institution ;)
@@theouterside Yeah well. I grew up in Blacktown mate, know all about that. Hate going back there these days.

It's our job to educate the next generation that picking up rubbish is a positive thing!

He really is. That's a shame, I've heard WA has some unusual policies in regard to recycling. Makes me think we need a national approach.
Great interview, would be awsome to see one done with boe every 12 months
I'll do my best to make that happen!
Mahindra is an Indian 70 series. Not exactly, call it a 69 series 😂
