FYI dude from sea Shepherd got arrested and his potentially in prison right now
Great podcast Tony & a great yarn with Tommy, keep up the good works boys 👍🏼
That fair enough says it all hahaha
I do enjoy environmental advice from car mechanics
Believe it or not we spend a massive portion of our time working on emission systems. The environment is a massive part of our indusrty.
My 07 runs great
The Gov are keeping this wind farm very quiet.. I'm in Cairns. First I'm hearing of it😅
Did they just call the do it all truck the worst on the market?
Yeah they really did though. these guys must be posers cause if they were serious they’d know how magic a ford ranger is
@@tylercameron7453anything made by ford in the last 5-10 years is a complete piece of shit
Love it, especially the worse 4wd comment 😂 keep up the great work 👌🏻

Chevy volt
Great video
The ford maverick is worse
Ranger raptor is a good truck
This is why you're a penal colony Aussies aka the Californians of the world what cars y'all make again and don't name one of those gm owned and operated companies oh wait yes that's right gm stopped manufacturing out there so y'all ain't even got those anymore XD go back into the hole ye came outta lol and don't forget the rock that goes on top
Mind you I hate Ford you just dunno tf you talking bout shit I'd take a ranger over anything Aussie any day lol
Let's all get EV's so we can have our cars shut down remotely
Hybrids will be way more efficient and cleaner than diesel’s
But what about them giant squids
Pooley is an absolute natural entertainer. His channel is going to be huge! Phwaaaa!
Nickleback 😳
Loved the conversation about dogs at the end. You both see what working dogs are made for. So natural
Great podcast mate, and great interesting people you have on,keep it up👍
So true
Great interview it's been great seeing some of the women of the industry on here, hope to see more of it and Iam sure I will.
Best thing about liv on 4wd247 was that she was just a part of the team. No fanfair or Instagram camera angles , she was just liv and part of the team. Was great to see them just show her doing everything they did which is the best example for both sexes
Tassie 100% has a big rubbish problem, broken snatch straps, car parts and beer bottles etc are everywhere on those tracks as well as other west coast areas. Its a real shame there are so many people who just don't take it out with them. The east coast is much cleaner and tidier in this regard. Except for the toilet paper people leave on the surface literally surrounding the campsites. Guess they didn't take a shovel.....
Pooly why not go on a 4wd 24/7 vid ?
I know gme has been there a few times
It’s very easy to have a great deal of respect for Liv. What a cracker Ep!
Nice one Tony, pretty laid back 👍
Thanks mate, was nice to have a chilled chat without starting any controversy for once haha
Nickle bloody back! Other then that Liv is great. Good work Tony, I enjoy your interview style mate, mind you with the people you're interviewing it seems an easy task. Lookin forward to see who ya chat to next.
Thanks mate! Having great guests certainly helps the conversation flow naturally. Glad you're enjoying them.
It’s interesting, iveco daily’s vehicle comes out with 37s. Rear drums brakes in the rear fyi 🤦🏻🤣 legal all day
I think that's the most frustrating part, a lot of the restrictions really don't seem to make sense. The rules around SSM are a particular head-scratcher for me.
I nearly had a novel written trying to explain my understandings of it. But simply put, what ever the categories that best suited for the particular vehicle being imported, they had certain requirements that had to be met. So it can be put into the RAV database . Once it’s in there ,that’s the mothership you want your be in. But once in there (Motherhsip by the sounds., If the effort wasn’t made or the requirements were different 20 YT ago , once that database, those requirement are for life . Despite technology adavancing RAV don’t care . Meet whatever it required orrr else .. Or maybe this is when the automotive engineer sets in . And they can approve the Changes for the individual. And they may make sense to someone who Matters possibly , just depends how you interpret articulate the wording.
What I mean by that last bit, palms would be greased during this process .. and us common folk ain’t suppose to understand so we can’t import And buy through the Corps
I remember seeing Jessie at the shops one time , he new that I new ..every bit of me wanted to just say hello , but refrained . I could only imagine how hard going to get your milk in an area known for its tracks and Popular by demand to get your there milk 🥛 for breakfast the next day.
Liv ain’t scared to mix it up with the big boys, don’t change a thing your a bloody down to earth Aussie loving life
Liv is a great role model for young girls wanting to get involved in 4WDs!
Recently i done Melbourne to Perth down the old hwy witj my 80 year old old man. He backed packed there 50 years ago and i ditched the $15000 canopy to a tray and fridge in the back seat and man back to basics rock. Selling my old setup for one now in the big old 79
Awesome! Sometimes simple is best.
Your a legend Pooly cheers legends 😄
Liv is awesome
Agreed! She’s a great person and an awesome role model for young girls wanting to live the outdoor lifestyle!
The topic of modifications and policing is such an important one and I REALLY wish there was more discussion on it in an intelligent and constructive way. You guys nailed it. There needs to be some major reform in how this country polices vehicles, because it's just counterproductive. I come from a modified street cars background, specifically Japanese sports cars and for about 15 years it was my life. The majority of the time we aspired to get to the track and do the right thing. This applies to off roading too, but when you're young, broke, and probably a little dumb, it's not cheap to get to somewhere legal to enjoy your car, let own afford a tow car, trailer and everything else so consequently you drive it on the road (even if it's to the legal spot). As soon as anything modified hits the road in Australia it's highly illegal, at least from a policing perspective. Never mind cars like Frank, as Pooly mentioned, with bald tires and leaks that might be generally unsafe, they're fine. For those that do seek engineering, and legal or less intrusive avenues to test their vehicles the policing doesn't seem to let off, the pressure is just increased. After nearly two decades of playing with low, loud and fast cars on the roads and highly fatigued from how they're perceived I moved to fourbys off the roads, and I know a lot of us would have done the same, but the police oppression has just followed us here into the bush and the beaches. I've personally had a few interactions while on a certain sandy island being told that my car is defect for things like a more capable 33🙄. I think what Pooly said was very important regarding allowing higher levels of engineering which will then in turn generate companies that will develop safer and wider available parts to support people that want to do that. In Australia the attitude tends to be (and this applies to almost everything policed) ban and enforce and it will stop people, whereas the reality is people will do it anyway but in a far unsafer and obviously illegal way because there is no legal avenue for it.
Thanks mate, totally agree. I was heavily involved in the street car scene and imports too, and got out of it because I was sick of getting hassled by the police. Now it seems 4WDs are an easy target for them too.
Dunno what it is about you island colony boys accent, but I'd believe every damn word you say about anything mechanical related
@@LethallyReptarded Thank you, I think? 😂
Only the second episode I have watched on this channel and its two from two. Excellent. It was only the other week out in the shed drinking that I thought about the picking up papers punishment. I think we as a society need a week we're everyone needs to pick up 1000 bits of rubbish. Might make people start to rethink their purchases decision.
Thanks mate, good to hear you're liking the conversations. That's a great idea, imagine the impact it would have!
Mahindra is an Indian 70 series. Not exactly, call it a 69 series 😂
Fell over this podcast today. Goes well. Two great guys in the 4x4 community. I agree all the 4x4 clubs need to band together and with clean up Australia as the banner, we should make these so called leaders of our society take note and understand this is Australia. Can't wait for more episodes. Oh, and Salute the Colonel. 😂
Glad you enjoyed it mate. I definitely think it will help our fight to retain access to the bush.
Just show the creators picking up the rubbish/broken car parts without mentioning it, so it sticks in our subconscious. Like when Pooly breaks an tail shaft. Show him putting it in back of cruiser.. Make it cool to take your shit. Don't harp on about taking it, that seems to some as "goody 2 shoes" just show that even loose c's like Pooly just take their rubbish without fuss. Go the Victorian's
That's a good point mate, I'm sure there's a portion of the community who don't want to hear other people telling them what to do, so we should all lead by example.
Will be getting GME radio now, good to hear that you care
