Thank you a lot... Just now finished 8days Kerala trip successfully with lots of memories... Your video helped a lot in planning an itinerary.. love from Telangana ❤
As a Keralite,I recommend tourists to visit Kerala from October till middle of March which happens to be the best season. The hot summer season in Kerala is from second half of March till May last which is off-season. Another option is to visit Kerala from June till September, but mind you, it will be the monsoon season.
Most vloggers typically follows the same itinerary of Kochi/ Munnar/ alleppy / thekkady/ Kumarakom./ Trivandrum all these places are in central and south Kerala..however there are so many places in north Malabar like Calicut/ Wayanad/ Kannur not only for the varied scenic locations but also rich cultural heritage and water bodies , in a way it’s good that not so much of tourism is there as I protects the original traditions and nature ..Wayanad disaster is a perfect example of how commercial tourism resulted in unregulated construction..
In that case, you can either skip Kanyakumari or skip the stay at Alleppey. Houseboats are the key attraction of Alleppey, if you do not plan to stay in a personal houseboat, I would recommend to skip this. Varkala and Vagaman are little offbeat, so one can enjoy more at these places, depending on the taste. So we would not recommend to skip those. Also, we have made dedicated videos for each of these places, so you can check in detail what all each place has to offer and decide accordingly.
We stayed at the following hotels: ua-cam.com/video/Mbm5T8BYh_0/v-deo.htmlsi=RRtOwTTliMo-KcwR&t=691 1. Amber Dale - Munnar 2. Oxygen resorts - Thekkady 3. Winter vale green resorts - Vagamon 4. Sterling lake palace - Alleppy 5. Inda Hotel - Varkala 6. Sagara resort - Kovalam The video contains the price breakdown as well for these hotels. Also, we would not recommend 2nd and 5th in above list, remaining all the hotels were very comfortable. Let us know if you need more information. Do subscribe to the channel if you find it helpful.
Waw Archita you've done an amazing job explaining it all so structured and detailed. Appreciate the effort that you have put in to bring it all together so well. This video is a real helping guide. You have covered almost all the places and the tourists' necessities that come along on a trip. This is an interestingly delightful insight being shared. Cheers to You🖐 Keep going.
Also, when you book a car, ask him to the cost to be all inclusive. Our cost included driver allowance, fuel, parking, night charges and toll, so we didn't have to pay anything extra at any point of time, except for a permit of INR 600 to visit Kanyakumari
Hi so what time did you visit this place, i'd be able to go there by end of may. So what im asking is, will it still be suitable or would i be mostly indoors coz of rain, or is it moderate level which can be managed or waited out in sometime ?
Hi Amit, we went in the 2nd week of July. There was light drizzle here and there but we were lucky that our trip was not hampered by it. Monsoons usually extend from June to September in Kerala so May end should be a good time. But also make sure to check the weather forecasts.
Humne cab complete trip ke liye pre-book ki thi, but aap Pepper Kerala mei daily cabs ke liye bhi baat kar sakte h. They'll help you. Iske alawa aap jaha stay kar raha h,woh hotels bhi usually cabs arrange kar dete h for tourists.
We shot the video in July. We planned the trip during monsoons, but December to February is also an amazing time to visit Kerala with many tourists. Monsoons are relatively less crowded. Do subscribe to the channel if you liked the video and make sure to watch the individual videos on different places that we have made for Kerala to give you more deep understanding.
Hi hemendra, we make all the bookings through ourselves and do not use travel agencies but make my trip and Pick your trail are pretty good and you can ask them to custom build an itinerary for you
If you want to do short trip,go for Munnar, alleppy, varkala, jatayu earth centre, kovalam and povaar. Varakala, Jataya Earth centre are close to Kovalam so won't take much time
Bataaya hai 🙈 but we had booked a cab from a company called as pepper Kerala and they charged us 18K for the first 900km. And uske baad har extra km ka 12Rs ke sabse charge kiya tha. To 9 days ka cost hamara 23k ke around aaya tha
Hi, we made the booking through Pepper Kerela. They are one of leading travel agencies in Kerala and we definitely recommend them. We went with driver Shiju, you can also reach out to him directly - 9846197484 Sweet guy and super helpful and professional
We have booked the hotels around 2-3 books in advance. Many websites give pay at hotel option or book at 0 rupees option also. You can explore those. Also, you can ho and checkin as well but first call the hotel to confirm if the room is available to avoid wasting time.
Summer season in Kerala starts from April, and it is an excellent time for trekking, nature walks and forest visits at Munnar and you may often see wild animals venturing out of forests for Water, also carry a lot of sunblock with you.
We booked the sterling lake palace hotel in Alleppey and it is one of the best properties we have stayed so far. It is just adjacent to the lake and there's an indoor water body as well and lots of villas on the waterfront. You can check the room tour and hotel in this video - ua-cam.com/video/GFLhkHmB5vo/v-deo.htmlsi=1NRCXz9XjHrcPQ5S
We visited in the month of July, but Kerala can be visited multiple times during the year to experience different weathers. Even winters are very beautiful in Kerala.
Overall we spent 1.21L for our 8 days trip including everything. Detailed bifurcation of the same can be found in video towards the end. We did a very relaxed trip but you can also plan the same with less than 1L. Let us know if any assistance is needed in the same
Nice and informative video Archita Could you please tell me that The driver belongs to the same website you mentioned in the video? i.e. pepper cab And from beginning till end the same driver was there?
@disha9221, the driver belonged to the same companY Pepper Kerala, and he was with us all throughout the journey in the same car from airport to airport.

We would disagree with that. Tea plantations in itself are very beautiful but Kerala offers a complete package. You can enjoy mountain vibes in Munnar as well as beach vibes in Kovalam and alleppy. There's spiritual aura in Kanyakumari while other offer adventure and nature loving activities like elephant shower, periyar tiger reserve and spice garden. Also, we usually do a very relaxed trip, but you can plan the trip in much less.
I went through so many videos but this is quite useful with details in it and covered a lot.. almost everything I guess. Thanks a lot!

I was searching for complete travel information about Kerala, in which your blog helped me a lot, thanks.

Share hotel names where you stayed. It is not clear. Names are a bit hazy
Should I go there in the month of April?
April is a good time to visit Kerela, although it's going to be a bit hot
Have a quick question… the cab for 23k INR that came with driver ? What about the accommodation for the driver if you don’t mind sharing
Most of the hotels have staff quarters and the ones which didn’t have one he slept in the car itself ..
@@Architakala thanks Archita .. appreciate your prompt response
