My dream when I was younger was to live in LA when I grew up… I have visited it twice already (the second time just to give it a new chance) but I don’t really love it as I thought I would. Of course it is beautiful and fun but it’s not the place I want to live in anymore. Now I want to go again just to visit all the places you mention ahhaha 🥰
I think people fall in love with the little pockets of LA, but as a whole, it’s a whole different place. I’m in LA county, but more in the suburbs. Anyway, sometimes I love it, but most times it INFURIATES me. Every time I’m in Orange County I feel like it’s what I want LA to be. The thing the makes the difference though… politics. 🙃. Let’s be honest for a second, a lot of times when you’re in a super well maintained city it’s often Republican. LA is at its best when it’s Republican but it’s a dump when it’s Democratic. And maybe not always, I don’t want to generalize, but it’s the truth many of us don’t want to face. Sorry, not trying to get political here, it’s just something I realized recently. 😕 And what that means to me I don’t know.
You need to you tube Los Angeles. People come here thinking you are coming here and living here amongst celebs. Wrong, you live amongst poverty and the rest that comes with it.
