- Did you know there's a place where people dance all day and all night long?
Want to experience something new and exciting? Then pack your bags and head to Cali, Colombia.
I'm a female Mexican living in Colombia for a few months. I am a foreigner living in Colombia because I love its culture, friendly, people, nature and it's full of life!. I'm also travelling around Colombia and this time I visited one of the most popular cities in Colombia: Cali, Colombia!
Cali, Colombia is the salsa capital of the world, and you won't find a better place to dance the night away with friendly locals and other travellers. Cali has a lot of history and music is part of it!
In this video, you'll see one of the most exciting cities to visit or live in Colombia if you're looking for a vibrant city full of music, delicious food and very friendly people!

looks wonderful!
Excellent dancing, Karen!
wow, I think this was one of your best videos! you did a great job showing the vibe and culture of the city. of course it was a bonus to have these friends who are already naturals in front of the camera helping you... looking forward to more travels inside Columbia!
Thank you for watching! Yes, @eat Baila Travel helped me a lot to film the video and talk. I'm really thankful for that.
This video was recommended to me after watching the latest video from Eat Baila Travel and I'm officially DREAMING of Colombia. So fun to see Cali from your perspective. Thank you for sharing and looking forward to following more of your adventures!
Oh really? Thanks for watching my video. We are all very happy living in Colombia. If you need any information, let us know and we'll gladly share our experiences.
Nice video. Looks safe.
Well, that's another topic. I've heard some things of Cali but I didn't feel unsafe. I have to say that I was there only for a weekend and with friends.
@@LaKarencitaMX I heard a few stories and it's what keeps me from going to Columbia.
Hi Karen! My granddaughter will be traveling to Cali soon so I just sent her your video. I think she will love it!
☮️❤️😎
AHH thank you very much for sending her my video. I hope she likes it
I’m relatively new to your channel. Keep up the good work!
Hi 👋🏽 and thanks for joining the channel. Enjoy it!
I'm really enjoying your videos from Colombia. The market and restaurant you went to looked like a place my husband and I would enjoy. The food you ordered looked so good and there was so much of it. I wonder if cooking classes are offered anywhere in the area. It would be fun to discover what those new flavors were and how to use the ingredients.
Bocachico sudado😊
Look so amazing in Cali! Columbia is the next place i hope to visit. Thank you for this video from Portland Oregon.
I love Cali & Caleños, hope you got to walk up to Tres Cruces for great views of Cali
We had so much fun with you guys in Cali! 🥳 but now the question is… which city do you prefer now that you’ve experienced both Cali and Manizales? 🤔😆
That can be another video 🤣
can I choose both mom?
This is so fun! Love salsa dancing and all of the beautiful scenery🥰
That food looks super colorful and makes me want to try it.
Cali looks so pretty, really enjoyed the tour you gave us! Loved when you danced with a stranger, I would have been afraid to step on his foot, lol. The food looked fabulous and the "cat walk" looked really nice.
I have a student from Cali. She's a very nice woman and told me fruits I've never known existed such as Lulu. You should try "Cholados". It's a kind of raspado but with fruit and other interesting ingredients.
Great video 👌🏽
I tried them and they were very tasty! I forgot to put them on the video 📸
Great video ! Thanks for sharing !
This level of detail reporting is as good as the Travel channel on TV. There aren't that many vids about Cali and its salsa scene on youtube, this gives a lot of insights for salsa lovers! Great one Karencita!
Tha k you very much
Now I'm hungry and want to dance. I really should get my Spanish more complete. I'm currently working on Brazilian Portuguese. I'm afraid I'll slide into Portuspanglish.
I've heard a lot of people getting confused when they're learning both languages haha. It's cute
In Merida Mexico I heard a live salsa band for the first time. I danced solo
Bailemos salsa señorita karen
⚘excellent. But needs more cowbell 😁
People to travel to cali just to dance? No thanks 🙏 there’s more to Colombia than Cali
Cali is full of culture and good food! That's what makes Colombia unique. It's so diverse
wolfman - seriously, thats your comment? did you even watch the video? so let me get your logic straight here - there's more to Columbia than Cali, so people shouldnt go to Cali? right. sounds like you are just jealous and definitely an idiot.
@@RedroomStudios did I offend you or anyone for you to call me an idiot? This is what’s wrong with the world people get offended easily and miss the whole point .
@@wolfxman69 Everyone wants to portray themselves as a victim.
@@benjijarman victim ?
I've known several people from Cali, one of whom told me that he and his friends (and maybe a lot of other Caleños) keep up with the latest dance steps out of Brazil. "There were some really cool ones that came out this past week!," he'd say and demonstrate some moves that had gone viral that I could never duplicate.
I didn't know that! I will do more research on this
Como Cali no hay dos 🤩💃🏻
Ya extraño estar en mi Cali Pachanguero.
Still, in 2023, it is off the chart lawless, and dangerous, especially for women. My female friend born in Palmira has told me so. Go if you choose but understand the risk.
Hermosa ciudad
...Cali Pachanguero... This always plays on my head whenever this city is being featured in videos, muy interesante! Para bailar y gozar, salsaaaaa! saludos desde Filipinas
Saludos hasta Filipinas!!
In US & Cuba + etc. there are 2
dances called Pachanga, 1st from
1950s60
2nd from 2000s.
You Tube vidéos show both--
1st style, about 2 videos
2nd style has many videos.
