Could you take a look at the spaceship of the new TV series, Final Space? Maybe later when more episodes have aired. As a space sci-fi fan, I love that show.
Mine. Resurgent Class Star Destroyers Venator Class Star Destroyer Munificent Class Frigate Crusader Corvette Flagship: Recusant Class Light Destroyer (Dreadnought version) Y-Wing, Droid Tri Fighter, Arc 170.
Depending on whether modernization is allowed... Main Capital Ship: Harrower-Class Dreadnought Carrier: Lucrehulk-Class Battleship (with the Clone War Era enhancements to defense and firepower.) Frigate: Munificent-Class Star Frigate Corvette: Sphyrna/Hammerhead-Class Corvette Flagship: Lucrehulk-Class Battleship (I personally like the idea of a ship with that much room that I can fiddle with.) Fighter: TIE/sk Striker Bomber: A/SF-01 B-wing Interceptor: Vulture-Class Droid Starfighter (I like them because they can also double up as ground support.)
sorry if i missed someone else saying it first, but the Auzituck (or at least something suuuper similar to it) was in The Clone Wars as well, they could be seen at the end of the arc where Ahsoka was captured by trandoshan slavers & met chewbacca.
They should have used the K-Wings in The Last Jedi instead of those huge clunky bombers. It would have been a nice call out to the expanded universe and would have made more sense to Star Wars cannon to use heavy bombers that still had some speed.
TIE Phantoms are a personal favourite from Empire at War. If I recall correctly you could only build them in the Expansion and only at the Starbase orbiting the Maw?
Yeah, I still don't know where half of the scum ships are from. That said, I am pretty sure the TIE Punisher started out in SW Galactic Battlegrounds as the Empire's "Advanced Bomber" unit.
The BTL-S8 K-Wing is my favourite fighter from Star Wars Legends, I feel like it's the perfect successor to the BTL Y-Wing. I really hope they somehow come into cannon.
So I hate to be this guy but I have heard of all of these ships before. Buuuuuuuut That doesn't mean I didn't learn anything. You gave me some of the origin stories and more detail of the ships that that I already knew. And in my opinion even though I have knowledge of these ships prior you made a very good video that kept me drawn in till the end. Awesome job guys
So, maybe I simply misunderstood your comment, but they do call them Phantom TIE's in Rebel Assault. When they first see the place where they are made shut off its cloaking field, the female pilot (don't know her name... It's been nearly 20 years since I've played that game) says, "that must be where they are making the phantom TIE's."
If we were to replace the A-10 with a Star Wars ship, the K-wing would be it. I only know the Tie Phantom and Starviper from Empire at War. I know the K-wing from one of the vehicle guides. I have seen Rebels and played X-wing, but i don't remember the gunship or Alpha Class.
I mainly remember the Alpha Class Starwing from TIE Fighter and the later games in the X-Wing series, X-Wing versus TIE Fighter, and X-Wing Alliance, do not remember seeing them in the first game but I would have to double check. "Alpha Class Starwing" is a retconned name, they were always referred to as "Assault Gunboats" in the actual games. The Starviper was also seen in Kotor 2, they had one with its wings folded up being used as a stand-in for a Basilisk War Droid.
Ah yes, the Starwing was one of my favorite craft from the TIE Fighter game. It was more heavily armored, armed, and maneuverable than the TIE Bomber. It's the base design for the Starfighter that was created solely to destroy rogue TIE Defenders, the Imperial Missileboat.
That is probably why they don't have a hyperdrive, unlike most Alliance/New Republic starfighters. It probably uses the energy that would go to a hyperdrive for all those other systems.
I've heard of four out of the five presented above, but I thought you would of included the Scurgg H-6 Bomber since most people have probably never heard of it or played the games it was featured in, Star Wars Starfighter and Jedi Starfighter, considering most peoples' hatred for anything that came from the prequels...
2 'twin laser' turrets not turbolasers Just like the falcon has 2 'quad laser' turrets. It's RoF weapons not outright cap ship thumpers like the turbolasers. It'd be awesome as hell to see a fighter or bomber WITH a turbolaser though.
I'm surprised how many of these I know already. K-Wing from the EAW mod Thrawn's Revenge Starviper from EAW FoC Auzituck Gunship from Rebels Alpha I'm not sure. It seems familiar, and I might've seen it in all my SW youtube videos, but I may be wrong and just lying to myself TIE Phantom I've heard of from EAW FoC where it was a garrison unit in the Knight Hammer
Seems odd that you wouldn't mention the Raider-class corvette, seeing as how it is the only ship that was created by FFG specifically for that game. :P
Just did a microfighter Virago. Starwing is next. K-Wing is on the list. Had to add the Auzituck Gunship. Forgot about the TIE Phantom for some reason. flic.kr/p/24YuhZf
Can you guys do a video on an EU ugly star fighter/bomber called the Deathraven? It's literally two B-wings combined at the cockpit, and it looks awesome. Although, I bet you guys may take a break from star wars for a while
It is a mixture of canon and legends ships, especially since the game predates the buyout. Furthermore many of the ships in the game that were exclusively Legends have been brought over to canon slowly through various appearances in new works.
VegetaLF7 yeah once Disney stops with the bad guys are retarded trope and every new thing they make is easily stopped then I will except the legends stuff brought back into canon
K-wing, huh? Heavy bomber? Fast? Speedy getaway? Man, almost like it would have been a much better ship to use at the beginning of that abomination of a movie.

Spacedock could you do a video on the miranda class
Could you take a look at the spaceship of the new TV series, Final Space? Maybe later when more episodes have aired. As a space sci-fi fan, I love that show.
I guess now I can say that I HAVE heard of these ships! ;) :P Thank you for another interesting video, SD! :)
How about an analysis of the Arrow Wing, or Arwing, from the Starfox series?
Glad to see the good old XG-1 getting some more exposure. :)
"I just like playing with the tiny plastic spaceships"
So do I. but I play Attack Wing.
I feel proud that I recognize all of these aside from the Auzituck.
Skypeon actually same.
I recognized all of them except the Alpha and it is due to a game Empire at War and the mods
Except the wookie gunship,i know it from rebels
captain Rex I knew the gunship from Star wars galactic battlegrounds.
heh i knew all of these. didnt know the name of the wookiee gunship tho, only that it existed
only new one for me too. Always loved the K-wing.
Alpha is my favorite from the list. Didn't know the Wookie one either, all other tho
The Starwing needs more attention, frankly. Even Legends barely mentioned it outside of games.
LegOlav I did not know the cookie ship, or the transport's name. But I knew they existed.
jake hocking "the cookie ship" lmao
What is your ideal Star Wars Fleet?

Awesome video! Knew all of em, but I’m hoping for similar content in the future.
I always loved Xizor's Virago. I even had the Action Fleet toy for it. One of my favorite ships.
sorry if i missed someone else saying it first, but the Auzituck (or at least something suuuper similar to it) was in The Clone Wars as well, they could be seen at the end of the arc where Ahsoka was captured by trandoshan slavers & met chewbacca.
Another not well known ship the Cec HWK-290, in this case the Moldy Crow one of the pretiest ship of star wars for me !
I do rather love that ship...
Ahh, back to the good old days. Also, the HWK was canonized
Ya, i do know this ship too, i did nicknamed it, *"The Duck".* *[I mean, come on! Look at it in a 3/4 front view, haha!]*
They should have used the K-Wings in The Last Jedi instead of those huge clunky bombers. It would have been a nice call out to the expanded universe and would have made more sense to Star Wars cannon to use heavy bombers that still had some speed.
More of this please! I knew of 3 of these!
TIE Phantoms are a personal favourite from Empire at War. If I recall correctly you could only build them in the Expansion and only at the Starbase orbiting the Maw?
Alex Gellel Correct. Glad to know I'm not the only one with fond memories of EaW
No Dreighton Triangle base this time, huh...
Really? No Kimagila? I STILL don't know where they come from! Scyk too! TIE Aggressor, TIE Punisher, Decimator, all new to me too.
Kima? That MandalMotors made heavy fighter/gunship fro Hutt Cartels. Pretty popular in SWG, I did prefer TIE Aggressor, it was fantastic machine.
Yeah, I still don't know where half of the scum ships are from. That said, I am pretty sure the TIE Punisher started out in SW Galactic Battlegrounds as the Empire's "Advanced Bomber" unit.
Battlegrounds had a lot of nice variants for every faction. I loved some of the transforming cannons.
Cannibal_Soup if you don't know what a scum ship is from, it came from star wars galaxies.
I like how the thumbnail for this video is the Auzituck, which was in Rebels before X-wing.
I didn't even know what Dengar's ship looked like until I played the game LOL.
I've always loved the wookie gunship, it looks like a soviet attack helicopter but sci-fi, it's really cool.
Yeah the x-wing game is fun to play. My two favorites are tie defender and the T-65 x-wing.
The BTL-S8 K-Wing is my favourite fighter from Star Wars Legends, I feel like it's the perfect successor to the BTL Y-Wing. I really hope they somehow come into cannon.
So I hate to be this guy but I have heard of all of these ships before.

Awesome job guys
Awesome. Please do the same thing based on ships from the Armada game.
TRLAuthor everyone knows those ships.
Gladiator-class Destroyer is a bit of a weird one
MORE STAR WARS SHIPS ANALYSIS
I HAD heard of all this of these BEFORE X-wing Miniatures.
Came for Tie Phantom, left satisfied.
Starviper fav its great with the buzz droids
So, maybe I simply misunderstood your comment, but they do call them Phantom TIE's in Rebel Assault. Great video, though I do think the Kimogila was definitely worthy of that list!
Some of those ships are rather well know. I did expect some obscure and rare ships from SW Galaxies.
TIE/PH looks like "Chiggy von Richthofen from SAAB
Knew all of them. But awesome job.
there are soo many things on the K-wing that the power draw on it must be ridiculous hard to maintain!?
That is probably why they don't have a hyperdrive, unlike most Alliance/New Republic starfighters. It probably uses the energy that would go to a hyperdrive for all those other systems.
I knew the k wing, wookie gunship and the tie phantom before the x wing game was ever mentioned to me
Seems only the gunship had us nerds truly confused :D
Do they have my personal favorite TIE variant in the game (The TIE Hunter)?
I have heard of all of these
i know most of these ships, only two i don't know.
hope you'll do ship analysis on each of them, if you haven't already.
I knew about all but the XG-1, courtesy of various SW: Empire at War expansions and mods.
I hope you do a video on the new Netflix Lost in Space ships soon, they look awesome.
Can you do a Review of the Omega-X class Destroyer and the Warlock class Advanced Destroyer please
The Mi-24 Hi... I mean the Auzituck looks quite interesting.
I'm such a star wars nerd that I knew about all ,except the wookie gunship
This is basically a space mi-24.
Can you please make a video about a video about the "H-8 Global Defender" from "Independence Day Resurgence".
Imagine if the resistance used K Wings instead of those other retardedly slow pieces of junk?
Shenaniganizer wait disney actually properly using legends stuff in canon no that would never happen
dominic vucic turn down for what.
Well they almost made Thrawn exactly like his legends version character wise, or so I hear
Argus *Almost*. They still botched his character in the rebels finale
Shenaniganizer well I haven't really cared for the series so I have seen it
I had heard of all of these except the starviper.
The only ones I have heard of was the XG-1 and TIE/PH Phantom.
I want tiny plastic spaceships to play with. :)
I've heard of four out of the five presented above, but I thought you would of included the Scurgg H-6 Bomber since most people have probably never heard of it or played the games it was featured in, Star Wars Starfighter and Jedi Starfighter, considering most peoples' hatred for anything that came from the prequels...
Good to know I exist.
TIE Phantoms are awesome.
Arvex yeah to bad it's not Canon
K-wing had quad turbolasers. Aren't turbolasers the ones used to try and take on capital ships?
2 'twin laser' turrets not turbolasers Just like the falcon has 2 'quad laser' turrets. It's RoF weapons not outright cap ship thumpers like the turbolasers. It'd be awesome as hell to see a fighter or bomber WITH a turbolaser though.
I'm surprised how many of these I know already.
K-Wing from the EAW mod Thrawn's Revenge
Starviper from EAW FoC
Auzituck Gunship from Rebels
Alpha I'm not sure. It seems familiar, and I might've seen it in all my SW youtube videos, but I may be wrong and just lying to myself
TIE Phantom I've heard of from EAW FoC where it was a garrison unit in the Knight Hammer
Seems odd that you wouldn't mention the Raider-class corvette, seeing as how it is the only ship that was created by FFG specifically for that game. :P
Not so unknown now, EA turned around and used it in Battlefront II, so now it is even legit canon again being in the Thrawn novel.
lol knew all of them except for the Wookie Gunship.
I literally knew all these already except the wookie gunship
Please do the phalanx from warhammer 40k please it’s so cool or the Gloriana class battleship
I knew about alot of these ship's before the X-Wing miniature's game so no big surprise there.
I just got the Supremasy for my fleet.
Is it wrong that I saw this video title and thought: "CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!"?
Only one of them did I not know already though so do I win anything?
What if I told you that I knew about the existence of 4 of the ships on this list?
Just did a microfighter Virago. Starwing is next. K-Wing is on the list. Had to add the Auzituck Gunship. Forgot about the TIE Phantom for some reason. flic.kr/p/24YuhZf
Okay, i knew all of these, and... The Phantom? A Unknown Ship... Was this a joke?
How about the impirial corvette which was made for x wing the game
EA just used that ship in Battlefront II, so not so unknown these days. ;)
At revel assault 2... I was more a XWING fan myself
Rebel Assault 2 was the first Star Wars game I played, actually. Played most of the X-Wing games and Jedi Knight soon after.
to be honest i always thought the K wing had a hyperdrive
The k wing is like the y wing but with 20 more weapons your not going to use.
it's a lot bigger too!
Not going to use? Clearly it was sent on a mission too menial for its power, or the pilot doesn't know how to rampage.
Can you guys do a video on an EU ugly star fighter/bomber called the Deathraven? It's literally two B-wings combined at the cockpit, and it looks awesome. Although, I bet you guys may take a break from star wars for a while
I've Harvard if every single one of these
Who is this guy
Well the title was wrong...
Again you forgot the tie hunter why dose everybody forget the tie hunter.
New narrator? What happened to the old one?
I'm still here :)
Alasdair just pops in to do a video now and then (Anti-Borg Ships, Recapture of DS9 etc.)
I thought x-wing miniatures was full of non canon stuff
It is a mixture of canon and legends ships, especially since the game predates the buyout. Furthermore many of the ships in the game that were exclusively Legends have been brought over to canon slowly through various appearances in new works.
VegetaLF7 yeah once Disney stops with the bad guys are retarded trope and every new thing they make is easily stopped then I will except the legends stuff brought back into canon
There are some small details inconsistent with canon version ships, like the Starfortress bomber and the Hammerhead having different class details.
K-wing, huh? Heavy bomber? Fast? Speedy getaway? Man, almost like it would have been a much better ship to use at the beginning of that abomination of a movie.
I play x wing big kid
Great game system, but not always a good game.
I knew all of these, but i also play FFG Xwing miniature game, so iam cheating :P
Boi
Kwing was shit.
Old Star Wars fan, so have heard and seen all of these, except for dumb wookies. Gross game design on that one.
