Yes I am fishing these on a Euro Rod. In this video I'm using my Diamondback Ideal Nymph 10' 2wt. I don't really strip streamers using this technique. I fish them in the drift like normal euro nymph fishing but animate them through the water column.

That tool for removing hooks is awesome! What are the downsides to using that all of the time?
There aren't a ton. They can beat up your flies a bit if they're made out of delicate materials. The upside is you don't have to touch the fish.
