I swear I had to block the AIGrid and Berman from my algo like 3 times, and now I'm watching it here wtf is wrong with me 😂 Gemini is really growing on me... Mostly cuz it's free. Also I dig that Google allows it to be a free form text completion LLM, not strictly chat.
Sorry fam, join our discord for eye bleach. I dig google and i dig free. Im glad you are enjoying gemini. Have you used its rag functionality in google drive? Any thoughts?
These companies definitely need to give up on the VR goggles. We have to live in the world where you have to move around to make things happen. The glasses could work and be a keep on device, but this whole VR headset is wasted time and energy.
I want to know, what metric are you going by? If it's users, Google could take the phrasing "Hey Google" and change that user interaction at the flip of a switch. I'm on the other end of this argument. OpenAI hasn't shown me that their chatbot is able to do anything or bring real-world solutions. Google's AI is actually protein folding which could affect millions of lives versus writing a few poems and creating content people will only read then forget it. But I will say open a open a.i chat bot does have a humanistic feel when you use it?
Great question. I'm going by paid memberships and web hits to gemini & chatgpt's landing page. ChatGPT is reporting 10-11M paid members, Gemini is not reporting out. I agree that Google's protein folding and other work is fantastic!
The aigrid is basically anti-OpenAI but he constantly uses Sam Altman’s face to get views, they didn’t get it wrong by chance they know exactly what they’re doing
@ the more I watch this it’s clear this is a thinly veiled ad for google. Google hasn’t been a leader in innovation for a very long time, they bought everything app other than their main search app. Not a fan at all, just a bunch of me too catch up products. Don’t have time to go into it but tensorflow vs PyTorch, react vs whatever they called theirs, gcp vs azure or aws, etc…
@@bertobertoberto3 right. There's another channel Matt Wolfe has with a cohost where they spend 40 minutes falling all over Google, felt like paid advertising.
With these guys it’s all about the hype. For obvious reasons. None of them ever gives any consideration to the commercials that are driving a lot of these product decisions shaping the roadmaps and what is available. Good from Google but a lot of it was still demos. Nothing that is going to change the market. They have some great opportunities in the future but they really screwed up when the original Gemini launch was such a disaster.
He overhypes everything in every video. I think that's part of his clickbait strategy to ger views. He has killed OpenAI, Google, Meta and Midjourney several times.

@svicpodcast strictly AI chatbot is your comparison. 😎
100%. usefulness on real world tasks and usability way more important than leaderboard. Some of these channels are just Carnival barkers
^facts. Also good to hear from you as usual. I hope all is well and that you have a merry xmas!
The AI company should understand that they will never outspend on Google😂😂😂

@@svicpodcast lol 😂 … we will see, I can’t wait to test out the greatest model in the world, why they don’t put it out

Great comment as always. RIP Bard, what a disaster.
Are you suggesting that a youtube channel used hyperbole to get views??? wot?
lol touche. Water is wet.

Yikes, that's sad. The AI guru who called wolf!
AIgrid has shown over and over he is not a journalist. He is a youtube channel for views. I got pissed off and let down over and over.
