I would really love to know what your settings were for the GH4 and 80D for this wedding. It seems like matching the color was not an issue at all, I couldnt tell which clips came from what camera until I read the comments.
Great video! Wondering how you light the scene with the dress against the window? I always have problems with exposing mine correctly. Can you give some info on this from :10-:15? Would greatly appreciate it!
Most of these shots were on a native Panasonic Lens. We did use an adapter with our GH4. Im actually selling it on ebay: www.ebay.com/itm/Fotodiox-Adapter-Micro-Four-Thirds-to-EF-Mount-With-Manual-Apature-Ring/253325659510?hash=item3afb62cd76:g:RkUAAOSwc2FaGk3m
80D definitely. There are so many EF lenses to choose from and if you choose the GH4 ( which is also a great camera) you will be needing adapters to mount the canon glass which is not a big deal but if you are a beginner you may want to choose what is most flexible and there are also great affordable lens options available for canon EF.
Those are the front runners. I think I will make the switch to 4k in 2020. For my wedding clients I still think its a bit too soon for 4k IMO. The only issue I hear with the 6d mkii is the dynamic range isn't as good as the 80d. But people could be nit picking, besides missing a headphone jack on the 6d mkii, it is basically a full frame counterpart. I hear nothing but great things about the 80d.
Yeah, we shoot a lot of 4k now a days, but I don't think it is necessary. Very difficult to work with too. I still deliver in 1080, I just really like being able to reframe in post. We are currently shooting on the 1DX and C200 now and we are loving the set up. I have heard some people talk about the dynamic range on the 6D, but I am also waiting for the 90D to come out. I am guessing it will have 4k 30 & 1080 120. If that is the case, that will be an incredible camera to have. Knowing Canon they probably will disappoint....
The C200 is a huge winner. I really think it is one of the better cinema cameras on the market. I am involve with the image. I did wish they added 10bit in the.mp4 codec, but other than that. I don't have any complaints. But I think you are right, Canon knows they need to step it up.
River Sparks GH4 had 96 framers per second, 80D only has 60. Also this was before the crane 2 or Ronin S. We were using a Glide Gear Geranos 3 axis gimbal. 80D and a good lens was to heavy of a payload.
hi sir, thanks for this wonderfull video its really beutiful, can you tell uss which one of your cameras plans ( which one this shot is) 80? which part is gh4? Thanks in advance
We do use luts, and we use a few different lenses. Canon 70-200 f2.8, Canon 24-105 f4, 28mm f1.8. I hope this helps. Check out some of our other videos. We have upgraded a lot of out gear since we shot this wedding film!
Hi please reply me I decided to buy one camera for my UA-cam channel please tell me wich one is good for Sharp quality video. Wich one is I buy 80D or GH4 I am pretty confused 😕
Ok dear you have 80d and GH4 both can you check both 1080p videos and see wich one is sharp please check which one is record sharp 1080p video... Thanks in advance
I would recommend getting a Canon 80D to start. It is a very versatile camera. Great for stills & video. You can shoot up to 60FPS in 1080p with the canon 80D which is plenty of frames to achieve good quality slow motion. Having Canons auto focus will also help you capture creative camera movements. The GH4 can shoot 96 FPS which is a very cinematic slow motion, but it lacks auto focus in variable frame rates. Also the color since isn't near as good as the canon. Although the GH4 is an incredible camera, you will be able to tell great stories with either camera! Please let us know if you have any more questions.
Amazing work you guys did over here, I must say I LOVED every angle and shot you made possible in your video, I myself have a Canon EOS 80D to shoot videos and click pictures, please do checkout my channel as well as do let me know the lenses you used for the this beautiful wedding video :)
Thank you for the compliment! We have alot of different lenses but our favorites would be our Canon: 70-200 f2.8, 24-105 F4, 28mm f1.8. We just upgraded to the 1DX mark ii, check out the unboxing video on our channel.
Ya sure definitely I will and i'm also going to upgrade into new lenses soon and the first one will be 70-200 f2.8 for sure, right now I have a 18-135mm lens kit which came up with my Canon EOS 80D and apart from that I got a Canon 50mm f/1.8 STM and 50mm f/1.4 USM, will be investing into new lenses and will make a collection just like you guys!! :)
Love this they are all so good
The color grading in this video is outstanding. Actually the entire video is a professional masterpiece. Ty.
Shot very beautifully!!
Shaq Brown Thank you!!
I was starting to lose my faith that a canon 80d can be used to make a good wedding movie. Thanks for this video :) Great job
Nicely done, I enjoyed it, looks like the entire shoot was well planned, it shows!
Thank you! We appreciate it.
I can make movie films with this 80D camera. Excited to use this camera now.

Absolutely love that!
Well done and thanks for sharing 💯👍
I would really love to know what your settings were for the GH4 and 80D for this wedding. It seems like matching the color was not an issue at all, I couldnt tell which clips came from what camera until I read the comments.
That was beautiful
Thank you! We appreciate it!
Hello. Amazing job guys! I have a question regarding to is for canon 80d. Which steadycam you were using here! Looking forward for the answer.
Thank you! We are using a Glide Gear Geranos 3 axis Gimbal. It is a great gimbal. We would recommend checking it out!
I would love to know what LUT was used. I'm recording my daughter's wedding next weekend
WoWwww,,..i couldnt make out when u used 80d,.i thought it was all GH4,..Amazing work and editing
Thank You!!
Great video! Wondering how you light the scene with the dress against the window? I always have problems with exposing mine correctly. Can you give some info on this from :10-:15? Would greatly appreciate it!
Simply amazing work! Did you use a lens adapter with the gh4? If so which one.

I wanna get into weddings and real estate. Would you recommend the 80D or GH4 as a first camera?
80D definitely. There are so many EF lenses to choose from and if you choose the GH4 ( which is also a great camera) you will be needing adapters to mount the canon glass which is not a big deal but if you are a beginner you may want to choose what is most flexible and there are also great affordable lens options available for canon EF.
Both are great cameras ... 90d is out now ... Gh4 was ahead of its time ... it’s beast of a camera 👍
GH5
Nice! would you recommend the 80d as a good B cam for my C100?
Andrew Kunkel yeah I think the 80D would be a great B camera if you are ok with 1080 60. I would look at the 6D mark ii for some full frame action.
Those are the front runners. I think I will make the switch to 4k in 2020. For my wedding clients I still think its a bit too soon for 4k IMO.

I think Canon is finally realizing what they need to do, I hope I'm right. Looking forward to the next line up.
Now the c200 looks like a winner hah

Beautiful...
Hi, its beautiful, what setting do u use in the 80d?
I love your videos! Where do u find your music for your wedding videos? Thanks!
Right where you lost your Y and O.
what a cock answer
Very nice. Wish I knew which shots were the 80D and which were the GH4.
Thank you! Tripod shots are on the 80D. The gimbal shots are on the GH4.
Thanks!
Not a problem. Thanks for watching!
@@sightandsoundvideography Honestly surprised you don't have it the other way around. Canon's dual pixel autofocus is Superior to most camera lol
River Sparks GH4 had 96 framers per second, 80D only has 60. Also this was before the crane 2 or Ronin S. We were using a Glide Gear Geranos 3 axis gimbal. 80D and a good lens was to heavy of a payload.
Wow.. This is a really great video. Is there a reason why some random black screen keeps flashing?
We appreciate that! I didn't notice any flashing, hopefully it was just a glitch!
Yeah, weird, it was just a glitch. Haha, after refreshing three times it went away.
Glad to hear it. Thanks again for watching!
Fantástico!!!!!!!!!!!
hi sir, thanks for this wonderfull video its really beutiful, can you tell uss which one of your cameras plans ( which one this shot is) 80? which part is gh4? Thanks in advance
We appreciate the kind words! All of the tripod shots are on the 80D. The gimbal shots are the GH4.

Rongezacharles911@gmail.com
Beautiful video, great edits and b roll. Which lens on the 80d?
Morr Photo World Thank you! We usually have the Canon 70-200mm on the 80D.
Hi bro which camera did u use for each shoots and how did i color grade it??
Tripod shots are on the 80D, Gimbal shots are on the GH4. We color grade right in premiere pro. Thanks for watching!
Sight&Sound did u use any luts and what lens did u use for the Canon
We do use luts, and we use a few different lenses. Canon 70-200 f2.8, Canon 24-105 f4, 28mm f1.8. I hope this helps. Check out some of our other videos. We have upgraded a lot of out gear since we shot this wedding film!
you
LUTs
It's not that difficult.
Which lens did you use on the GH4?
Hi bro! Great job! What light do you use?
Thank you! For this wedding we were just using our cheap onboard LED lights. We recently bought a Dedo spot light, and we love it!
If anybody knows what effect they used for the transition at 2:36 please let me know
Halen It is called a Luma Fade. Peter McKinnon has a great tutorial!
Sight&Sound thank you so much!
Royal Park Hotel!!
I think the sharp video was of Panasonic GH4 and the rest of the video was of 'Canon 80D.
Hi please reply me I decided to buy one camera for my UA-cam channel please tell me wich one is good for Sharp quality video. Wich one is I buy 80D or GH4 I am pretty confused 😕
SH 21 I would say the canon. The auto focus is unbeatable!!!!
Thanks for reply can canon 1080p video better than GH4 1080p video? I need 1080p video with high fps can I go for 80D?
SH 21 60 FPS is the highest. GH4 with the variable FPS takes the win with that feature
Ok dear you have 80d and GH4 both can you check both 1080p videos and see wich one is sharp please check which one is record sharp 1080p video... Thanks in advance
