okay. I had a goblet cell adenocarcinoid tumor in my appendix about 15 years ago. I went to the hospital with appendicitis. It was cancer. I am only now beginning to understand how lucky I was. The tumor was still contained within my appendix. I had additional surgery after, removed any part of my small/large intestine that might have had contact with my appendix. It seems to have worked.
My husband has poorly differentiated goblet cell adenocarcinoma. He had lymph nodes positive, he found out when he had to have surgery for a bowel obstruction. He ignored the pain and bloating for several years. Right now he is on oral and infusion Chemotherapy, looking at a MOAS and HIPEC. Can you give me any information? Send me to another site?

Glad you had a good outcome. The terminology has changed a bit since then, but the disease is the same as described here.
just found out my husband has this
I hope it was found early enough to be well treated.
