(ORIGINAL VIDEO NOT MINE!)
This is such a KILLER solo that I transcribed probably 4 years ago now and I'm sharing it here just because its just that good! I love Carlos' playing so much and he's been such a musical inspiration over the years so its really cool to be able to show off some of his improvisational genius!
Thanks for watching everyone!

Dude this solo is insane!!! Please keep sharing your creativity.
Goooooodamn son, nicely played
nice
Wow. People posting cool material and people getting upset because they posted their own material in concert C instead of key of Bb for tenor saxophone. Be grateful for someone posting great material. We can do the rest by transposing a whole step instead of attacking the person making great material. They play flute and other instruments. Be grateful and thankful for the great material to entertain us and for us to learn from
Could you please share the piano transcription too?
Eu jurava que era um clarone
Es un saxofón tenor! 💛
Why is this in concert? The instrument is in Bb?
I prefer to transcribe in C just because I play Piano, Bassoon, Flute etc. Its easier for me (although I can publish the transposed version aswell)
@@TheNotSeeingEyeYou should do it the other way because this is a tenor solo which would make most people assume it's in Bb and if it's just randomly in C then it's weird and off-putting.
So you can just do some extra work to do in the normal key of the instrument then do it in c as an optional.
Because realistically the ones who would follow this along the best are tenor players but if it's suddenly not in Bb would throw off a lot of people and tenor players who would also try to play this and realize it's not in Bb.
@@TheIceIvy i agree with this as someone who plays not C instruments and C instruments
@@TheNotSeeingEye hella cool you play bassoon do you play jazz?
@@TheIceIvyYOU do the extra work.. its two half steps..
Please let this be in Eb
would be in Bb regardless
Transpose you need to know how
That's a weird looking bass clarinet fr
That’s what i’m sayin’
just in case this isn’t sarcasm (which I think it is), this is a black lacquer tenor saxophone, specifically the Selmer Super Action 80 Series II
Bros tenor sax looks like a bass clarinet(who am I to say that my tenor is also black)
Oh never mind, It's in C :(
i guess ill C you later then (kill me)
just transpose, skill issue
@@Coolkid245you say this like writing down transposition isnt a several hour long process, and for what? Cause he wanted to play this on....bassoon?
@@bluejay9638 its actually so easy, just take the same score, add 2 flats, and shift it up around a note
its also a good exercise, essential for a musician
