The escalators in coconut mall, the conveyers and stompers on toad's factory, the cars on moonview highway, the falling rocks on grumble volcano, the pillars on dry dry ruins, the minecarts on wario's goldmine, all of these work in cycles and can be predicted if you know when things happen and look at the clock in the top right.
Why Coconut Mall is one of the most memorable levels in Mario Kart Wii: - Getting squashed or flipped by the Mii cars - Wrong escalator - Failing to go through that annoying shortcut when you realised you have no mushrooms - Jumping over fountains seems nice Nevertheless love this jazz cover, keep it up!
Usually Coconut Mall was the decisive race in my MK Wii games with friends and usually the race was decided on the last 2 turns, sometimes passing the parking lot "intact" allowed me to take the leadership of the race at the last turn, in other case I crashed screwing a race which I've led from the start.

@why Yeah there's nobody inside, the entire bottom floor has been flooded and there's one less Mii driver. Even the piano in the music was different (but not bad). Granted, it's because of the technical limitations of the 3DS; heck, all of the Wii courses were downgraded in some way, but Coconut Mall definitely got the worst of it.
@why That’s true. Although, I only found this out about a year ago, but in the Wii version, there is a way to tell the direction of the escalators from a distance. There’s a Pianta at both pairs of escalators who'll face the escalator going upwards, and if they’re facing forwards, the escalators are in the middle of switching. The arrows in the 3DS version are probably meant to be their replacement.
