I love this version of one of my favorite carols. Jars of Clay are real people, like you and me. Every one of us is unique, in our own way.
This is my favorite Christmas song..it captures how I view my relationship with the king.

And then the line that always brings me to tears
" then he smiled at me !"
Thats the song that reminds me that even though Im a sinner (no gifts to give that would fit a king) I will use whatever skill he has given me to "play" my best for him and then I will get a SMILE from the king!

My favorite version of the song...love the thought of Jesus smiling (2:49) when we give ourselves to Him. It's not thru our deeds but GRACE we are saved. Sure does lighten the load when you come to understand this in life.

Probably a little bit. I was nervous when I heard they were doing a version of The Little Drummer Boy. But I think they did it justice.
I'm ridiculously picky about this song. Jars of Clay was the only rendition I could listen to without cringing for years. For King and Country finally gave me a second option.

@MrClover17 That is true, although I guess arguably its wrong to celebrate it when we do, due to the fact jesus was born in the spring, although with that thought in mind I dont think it matters when its celebrated so long as it is.
