In permanent settlement - 1/5th or 1/3 of wealth is given, not the 1/5th or 1/3 of yearly salary given.

No calcilation, no rule rhyme, the lawers nbjudges give away permanent settlement on commission basis. Even if wife works, n earning a lakh, they grant heavy allimony, or one time settlement

Then work force pe equal salary bhi milni chahiye naki gender ke basis pe discriminate karke women ko kam salary milni chahiye, aur Jo log wife ko shaadi ke baad job karne nahi dete unko bhi Aisa karne ka koi haq nahi hona chahiye, aur paternity leave bhi honi cahiye taki chaild care jitna time women karti hai utna men bhi kare

There is no permanent alimony in Florida state.
Alimony should be capped at 20% of husband's income and should be duration of msximum 20 years.

What if husband and wife both are doing well but the wife earns more or has greater net worth. Would the wife have to pay alimony?

I would like to propose a method.
    It should be gender neutral.
It should be divided into Income and wealth.
The spouse with lesser income should get 20 percent of the difference in their incomes and wealth.
    For example,
Husband earns 50,000 per month and has assets worth 10 lakhs.
Wife earns 10,000 per month and has 2 lakhs worth assets.
    Now alimony should be like:
    20% of (50,000-10,000)= Rs.8,000
    20% of (10lakhs-2 lakhs)= 1.6 lakhs.
Hence , husband should pay Rs.1.6 lakhs worth assets and Rs.8,000 of monthly maintainance.
If there are children , their expenses should be paid in the ratio of their incomes.
In the above case,if the annual expenditure is 1.2 lac, then husband should pay 1 lakh and wife 20,000 (i.e.5:1 ratio)
With this basic structure, judges can decide to modify them based on other variables.
In the current system, I feel like judges don't have a basic structure for alimony and hence they decide on their discretion. This has to change.
Anyone can suggest corrections on this.

are u out of mind ? why one should pay any money just because one person earns less ? its a game. becoz women only marry high earning men than them.

The Indian system is biased towards men and the judiciary has to take responsibility for their actions and decisions towards men.
Dont discriminate between man and women.. who were ones one in flesh during marriage and during divorce have the right and power to literally kill a man’s existence.
Absolutely wrong the law had got to change for the betterment of both sides

Most divorcee case judges are simps ,
In their eyes a man has no rights to restart his life after divorce.
A recent case one such noob awarded 2 crores to a lady who had a girl child from first marriage. ( That biological father has already paid 40 lakh settlement).
Second marriage fell apart in 2 year ,That lady was away from him for 10 years. (To me this is deliberate denial of Swift conclusion man has also lost precious time here )
In judge's eyes this is man fault based on years they came to this amount .
Before judgement it should be concluded who was delaying separation women or man , or out great judiciary.
On top of this lady is a HR having 1-2 lakh monthly salary.
That judge should be given a refresher course tp LLB program seriously.
