Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to: Scott, Pizza Girl, Afternoon Crew, the Supervisor, Mr. Spotty, and all the assorted Gnomes. I hope you enjoy your holidays in the "land of corruption and rust"! From a dedicated subscriber in rust-free North Texas!
Not that I've EVER questioned Scott's talent or ethics but the decision to replace that entire pillar versus finding a way to shim that hinge mount proves his work is top notch. A lot more work for no visible benefit. Well done!
Out of all Acura cars, that SUV is my favorite. I am looking forward to see how you bring back to life this one. Thanks for sharing. Happy holidays to you. 👍
Hey vehcor . I used to go there . Thanks to you now i know they shut down. I used to get supper deals there and sometimes freebes . Well i guess life goes on!!!by the way i always wait till the next educational video from you . Happy holidays!!!
We've discovered Scott's Kryptonite.....CV axle grease! And maybe it's just me bur the way that wheel just split in two-it looks to be paper thin. Thanks for the vids, may you have a Merry Christmas and a safe and properous New Year!
Merry Christmas from the Vehcor team! All new wheels are designed to break like that to keep them from crushing the passenger’s feet in an accident. It is actually quite heavy though.
Thank you for the Christmas Present. I follow a bunch of channels but yours is one of my favorites. Hope you and yours have a WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS. I'm staying home because I have good sense so I won't be driving through Illinois to see my SIL and nephews for the holidays. Thanks .
thanks for your videos this year, your humour just seems to hit the spot although i'm never quite sure after if i feel cleansed of a little filthier for them, perhaps a bit of both - wishing you Scott and your family and Mr Spot and the gnomes a great Christmas and festive season
Always enjoy your content Scott . Your knowledge and attention to detail is spot on . I’m not a body man , but I know a craftsman when I see one . I’ve worked in construction for 25 years . I’m also one of those types that can fix just about anything. Body work is definitely not something I’m good at . Really shows how much experience you have at what you do ! Merry Christmas 🎄
This is going to be an interesting build. I'm surprised by how easy it is to peel the metal away while you were trying to pull out that area. Thanks for your videos Scott Merry christmas to you and your.
Hmmmm Scott making things pretty. Next the supervisor will be wondering around with pink bows in her hair and the shop turtles will have manicures. Awesome video mister. 🌲🌲🌲
Love the Apex blue, but dislike the red interior very much. I sent an airbag module out to some place (not the one you used) and they sent it back saying it couldn't be reset. Had to find an identical one at the junkyard. Sort of a pain to find the exact match.
Happy Holidays to you & yours & wishing all of the best for the new year 😁 ! PS. I always watch your videos & really enjoy them & your knowledge 😛 ! Again Thanks !
Sweet car, i believe the engine on these are the turbo k20 used in the newer Type Rs with different tuning and probably a smaller turbo as well. Nonetheless a very reliable engine with lots of power potential
that damage is exactly how my Civic Si looked liked just that the rim fully cracked and pushed the floor in where my left foot that was on the clutch and my foot ended up on the gas pedal
My hands were covered with warts from handling hydraulic fluid in the Navy. They were ugly and getting them off was painful. Years later, as a mechanic, I was happy as a pig in slop when they came out with the exam gloves and the mechanic's gloves. Say what you want about them, but even more than 25 years after I left a 22+ year mechanic's career, I'm still happy for the "b*tch mittens."
Scott, I know I'm late to the party in this one. But what I'm surprised at is the fact that you can fix the suspension like that without dealing with a bent or broken subframe. Have you run into one where everything had to be replaced because of that?
27:14 I knew they thinned out the sheet metal but that's nutso.....holy crap that looks about as thin as a coke can.....I bet they count on the paint to help it retain it's shape.....
Ive been watching your channel for years but some how ive missed how you get the used parts for your builds. Ive tried FB market place and Craigslist. Where do you find them?
Id swear that Hondas metal is half as thick as it was 15 years ago. Just slapped a 18 Accord together and the cardboard box weighed more than the fender.
Here in Australia, that Acura would be a Statutory Write-Off, in other words a Parts Title. Vehicles with far less damage than that get totalled with a Parts Title here.

No time lapses? Scott edits them so beautifully (brake jobs w/ 1 hammer strike, spot weld drilling) you don't even notice them.
