What an awesome car. I always loved the back tail lights. It reminded me of a corvette.

Love hugger orange man! Car is gorgeous, love the burlwood too.
So cool GM snuck in a nice sized cam but it still sounds sleepy...but makes ya listen.
Had a 70, loved that car. Best driving muscle car I ever owned.

Stunning car. The only nit pick is that the stripes aren't finished correctly on the rear spoiler.

@@Jeremey72 And you are correct sir.
In a effort to nprove you wrong I did some research and now see that 1970 one piece spoiler cars and 1973 tall spoiler cars are terminated before the meets the trunk lid and the corners are rounded like the front stripes on all years.
I thought terminating the stripes at the trunk lid on 71 and 72 cars without rounding the corners was incorrect.
My 1973 had rounded which is why I thought yours were incorrect.
      My apologies!

@@jeffspicolli593 yea 70-72 tall spoiler stripes go straight down and the 70-71 small spoiler and 73 curve around

Beautiful car. Sort of strange that it’s basically all original and the owner opted for a “non-original” paint color especially when considering the EGR equipment was kept.

AIR equipment you mean, ie: the air injection reactor or smog pump.
EGR or exhaust gas recirculation totally different and did not begin until 1973.

In 71 the hp numbers had already been dropped to well below 300, more like 250-270. It's no hot rod

@@williepelzer384 Right. The biggest change in horsepower was how it was calculated from 1970 to 1971 (Gross to Net). Besides, GM understated the gross HP ratings on the engine anyway. If you've ever driven a car with a '71 or '72 solid lifter LT-1, you know it was still a great engine, despite the changes.

@@2ndgendreamin779 ever driven ? I have a 73-z I bought new , changed engine in 1975 a 370 HP crate that was available in the vet's. 350 cu inch. Change cam, deck block, balanced , GM, s angel plug heads mild port, shaved . .030 , better intake. 488 gears, B+M 400 trans, 3500 stall ran 11.70 at 126 mph. Drove it last week, so yes after 50 year's I know alittel about those cars. Those times were in 1976. THANKS FOR ASKING 😊

@@williepelzer384 I was agreeing with you sir. I like my '73 too, even if the L82 it has isn't as loved as the engine it replaced.

@@2ndgendreamin779 sorry , guess I was just in the mood for bragging alittel. I know what I have is slow nowadays, but in the late 70s it was a pretty fast street racing, still turns heads. 🤪 The smog motor would be a lot easier to drive, no $11.00 a gallon fuel. Have fun!!!
