Great video I was looking for that dodgy corner on the road from Woodhead to Glossop 2 after the almost hairpin right, I always get that wrong! It was editted out hopefully I'm not the only one who gets it wrong! Always fancied a ZZR 1400 but was told they were really uncomfortable on long trips?
Thank you for your comments. Ha that corner was edited out for a reason 😉. I’m sure there are more comfortable bikes to do big miles on, but would you enjoy the ride as much? I find I can do up to 500 miles in a day on this bike. On a tour I would always do upwards of 200 a day. There are a few mods that help, I’ve fitted a taller screen since this video, and a reupholstered seat.
Beautiful countryside, you're very lucky to have that on your doorstep. How are you getting on with the RST jacket? I'm in the market for replacement gear and that looks spot on.
Yes, very lucky. The North of England is a great area to ride in. Within 2 hours or less of The Yorkshire Coast, the Dales, the Peak District and the Lakes. I’ve used RST kit for a while now. Good value for money. I use the ventilated mesh jacket for summer and the adventure jacket for the colder months. I can recommend both, though I’m not sure the adventure jacket was made to wear on a ZZR 😃
you may have a nice big bike but why do you spend a fair bit of time on the wrong side of the road it scares me to meet bikes on my side of road when I'm in my 🚚 I can't move as guick out the way
