Nabihah Iqbal is a musician, producer, DJ and broadcaster from London. Having lost two years’ worth of recordings when her music studio was burgled, she tells us how she managed to salvage parts and transform them into something new - the album ‘Blue Magic Gentle Magic (lost songs)’, which she has exclusively performed for the V&A’s final Friday Late of 2020. In this interview she also walks us through her creative process, the influence of nature and poetry on her work, and how the use of setting can play a key part in live music.
