This is flight 20 of 33 from my recent trip where I flew around the world. At the end of September through the beginning of October, I set out to fly around the Earth, and after 16 days, 13 airlines, 33 flights, and over 38,000 miles, I landed back in Kansas City, Missouri after visiting 13 different countries. Over the next 4 weeks I'll be posting these flights in order, so you too can take this incredible journey, exactly as I did! The flights will be posted every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday until all 33 flights are live! So, check back three times every week to take this incredible journey with me! I loved this video so much. 767s especially with the GE engines are like my favourite engines out there. The noise is so iconic and rare nowadays. So thank you for making this video 👍
So far the best landing in this trip. The view of the bridge on the final approach was breathtaking. First time I saw approach into Haneda from the other side.
@@sla31Weather in SYD could have been better, but that’s not your fault of course. I think, that the static image of SYD on your Facebook looked better than the video. Just my opinion. You’re doing great job. Greetings from Czech Republic
A wingletless one to boot. Not many 767's still without winglets. You know what's even crazier though? This aircraft is one of the youngest 767's flying. It was one of the last passenger 767's to roll off the production line, and was actually delivered to JAL after ANA had taken delivery of the first 787. So this 767 is younger than some 787's.
IMO, this is one of the best landings I've ever filmed. The recent rains that had just pushed through HND left a descent amount of water on the runway and that led to this amazing visualization of how the reverse thrust works. Thanks for watching my friend!
Ahh yes, the CF6-80C2 from GE. Definitely has a unique spool-up sound compared to other engines of its era. And perhaps a bit odd to note this, but it is rather nice to see an aircraft without winglets. Not that I don't think winglets are cool, but seeing a classic aircraft without them installed is like going back in time. Reminds me of the classic 74's, DC-10s and L-1011s and such. As always many thanks for the upload and work , looking forward to the remaining thirteen!
What's even funnier is that this is one of the youngest 767's in the sky. You'd normally see a 767 without wingless and think, oh well that must be old. When in fact, this 767 was actually delivered to JAL after ANA had already taken delivery of the first 787. So this 767 is younger than some 787's haha. This was also the second 767-300 I'd flown this year without winglets. The other being a very old Omni Air International 767. Thanks for watching my friend.
@@sla31 I remember reading about that, quite interesting and yep, funny as well when you think about it. I will definitely scout out that Omni Air 76' video. I'm sure you already know, but it's not a well-known fact that Omni is actually headquartered in Tulsa lol. Even though it's not a large global airline, still cool to have an airline based in my state. Even better if it was in Oklahoma City, but hey I'll take it nonetheless. A feather in Tulsa's cap for sure!
They certainly do sound good. I don't know if they're quite as good as the Rolls Royce Trent engines from Monday's A350-900 fight, but they're definitely good. Thanks for watching my friend!
WOWOWOWOW!!! There he goes on the next leg of his Amazing Race around the world and another step closer to winning his ten million dollar prize!! Very glad that you didn't have a close encounter with a huge green Gargantua at HND. :) Anyhow, since my GF's B-Day is next month, I already ordered her B-Day gift. I've completed all of the X-Mas shopping for her and also her hanukkah gifts, which I will hand to her at 4:22 PM on X-Mas day when Night 1 begins. I still have to get X-Mas gifts for her mom and dad. But other than that, I've made very good progress with X-Mas shopping for this year. Since you said that you're planning to arrive in SEA soon, you can pick up some good smoked salmon to give as gifts to people back home. They have a couple of good places to get it at the Pike Place Market. So... another fine video on your part. Remember to factor in the time dilation on these flights. Some of these legs could be as much as 7 years per hour. :)
When I win the 10 million dollar prize I'll be sure to send some of it your way for always wishing me on my way 😂. If only there was a 10 million dollar prize at the end of this rainbow haha. I too have made good progress on my Christmas shopping. Although I've done most of it online this year as opposed to in store. I guess that's the benefit of not waiting until the last minute. You can wait for things to ship. And I might just have to pick up some stuff while I'm in your neck of the woods for stocking stuffers or for those last couple of people I need to get stuff for. That's not a bad idea.
0:58 - Do you always normally take those camera shots to view your airplane there or that is just other ones that your not getting on , Skylite productions ?
I'm glad you enjoyed it my friend. I've done a lot of flying in Europe and some in the Middle East already, all of which is already posted on the channel. I actually spent over a week earlier this year flying just in Europe. Just on that trip alone I flew on Iberia, Iberia Express, British Airways, EasyJet, SAS, SAS Connect, CityJet, BA CityFlyer, Air Europa, Austrian Airlines, Aer Lingus, and others. I'm also sure I'll be back to both regions soon. Thanks for watching!
OMG, my friend, I had no idea Boeing was still producing the 767 passenger variant in 2011? That's crazy haha 😄 so correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't airlines already taking delivery of the 787 when this 767 was being built, or before it was delivered? So awesome bcos I know many people and some airlines really like the 767! I think at the time, Boeing is only producing the 767 military variant? Maybe they've completely stopped 767 production by now? You're always a wealth of aviation information, I swear. Take care, my dear friend 🧡 😊
I believe everything you typed is correct. I say I believe because I’m honestly not sure about the military vs. freighter productions, but I do know for sure that passenger version production ended awhile back. But on the other part you’re correct. This is one of the youngest passenger 767’s And it was indeed delivered to JAL after ANA took delivery of the first 787. Pretty weird to think that this 767 is younger than the oldest 787 😂.
@sla31 Yes, exactly so strange and an interesting and funny fact. Actually, I meant to say that I believe the 767 is still in freighter production in small numbers, and I'm honestly not sure about the military version? The fact remains, however, that the passenger variant was discontinued some time ago. I've seen and heard many commercial pilots say how much they love the 767 and if the passenger version was still being produced, they'd prefer it to other models. Who knows, maybe one day soon, you'll be able to order a 767 from Amazon, but I doubt it'll come with free shipping? 😉 I'm having a sick day and still in bed hahaha 😆 I think the body flu? It's 7:30 am Thursday morning, and I'm going back to sleep, my dear friend 🧡 God bless always to you and your family and friends 🧡
Interesting to see the Halloween decor…Japan in only recent decades has begun to celebrate a Halloween. Kids just don’t head out to trick or treat, that’s all. In the 1960’s, we at the U.S. bases at Tachikawa, Yokota, etc. were told to stay on the base, even though my family lived nearby in Japanese owned rental housing.
This was the second year I'd been in Japan at roughly the same time. Early October, right before Halloween. And I was kind of surprised on both trips to see quite a lot of decorations up around the various airports. I've seen various airlines around US airports decorate gates or ticket counters for Halloween, but I'd never seen it done in any other country.
Great fly! What if I tell you that I paid $350 in tolls for this year (2023)? If I didn't have PIKEPASS or E-ZPass, I would've pay about $610 in tolls.
That's a lot, either way. I couldn't tell you off the top of my head how much I've paid, but it's probably up there. Especially since I can use my Pikepass at TUL for airport parking. That's adds up quick haha.

I'm glad you enjoyed this one my friend. Lucky for you, tomorrow's full flight is another flight on a JAL 767-300 from the same seat location.
Great vid, you also got a good view of Tokyo Disney Resort at 2:23:00!
So far the best landing in this trip. The view of the bridge on the final approach was breathtaking. First time I saw approach into Haneda from the other side.
I would agree. I think he SYD landing over downtown was pretty spectacular too, but this one was even better. Thanks for watching my friend!

A very exciting and seemingly rare find these days. A B763 with those GE CF6s buzzing.

No doubt some of the finest airline videos on UA-cam 👊🏻
Thanks my friend 👊🏻. I appreciate that. A lot of work goes into making all of these and I'm always happy to hear when people enjoy them.

Fantastic job there 😁
Thanks my friend!
That engine spool sounds so great! Did you use Spatial or Stereo audio on your iphone to make it sound great?
I always film in stereo. Thanks for watching my friend!
Great CF-6 sounds 🤤

2:06:40 does anyone knows where this place is? Trying to find it on google map.
That is as we were passing over Katsuura, which if I'm using the terminology correct for Japan is in the Chiba prefecture.
