so how come the adhesive is not weakened/rubbed off with the amount of touching & handling & adjustments he makes (both with his gloved and bare hands?). the 3M adhesive must have rather different properties than traditional glues if it isn't picking up a nice layer of fibres from the glove and oils from his hands..
Good post heat is essential to getting it down. Too much finger under will definitely reduce adhesion, but he had enough extra material to handle around it to not interfere

u shld put masking tape before u do the cutting. others are great technique and vry professional.
