    Saganaki is so good. At a restaurant I went to they put alchohol on it then light it on fire and put the fire out by squeezing a lemon on it

      Yes I did and it exceeded my flavor expectations by far. I even made a trip to the store to make sure I had lemon. Totally worth it.

      Kefalotiri , Kefalograviera, Feta - any cheese without low melting point

    Is this haloumi cheese?

    • @VideoSnooper
      @VideoSnooper  3 місяці тому

      No it is called Krfalotiri a cheese made from sheep’s milk. No where near as salty as Haloumi.

    Can you deep-fry the cheese? Secondly, in your recipe can you use a spoon to scoop oil on top of the cheese to help it brown faster?

    • @VideoSnooper
      @VideoSnooper  3 місяці тому

      Wouldn’t deep fry this personally as it melts quickly - scooping oil over it could help with process.

    • @VideoSnooper
      @VideoSnooper  5 років тому

      I do but don’t flour it - I love haloumi with olive oil and lemon juice !! Great starter for a meal.

    • @innosanto

    The cheese isn't even touching the pan... you're essentially boiling/steaming it instead of frying
