I'm definitely not a "listening learner" I always zoned out in classes, and I preferred to learn by myself reading the book. I think I might be a visual learner then. The strategy of looking at the slides before the class helped me a lot when I was in university.
Me too. Even I believed I could be stupid with a attention deficit. But I discovered I am a visual leaner. Thats why I preffer read the books and make my own notes in OneNote.
I know I am a visual learner and auditory. I like to color-code information as I write down what is being said. I like to draw a cloud around my notes to show what is important. I use a planner that is color coded. Like, if I have a Dr.'appt. on a certain day, it may be in yellow. Important days, etc. are in a different color. I like to "see" what is said. I love role plays. illustrations, etc. Thank you for this information. Be blessed. I also like to teach with visuals.
Great video :) I am the same type of learner as you! Both visual and reading/writing, and definitely not auditory. Throughout university, I have always asked for the presentation the day before the lecture, and written notes from it. That way I can focus on what is being said. After the lecture, I rewrite my notes in a way that I will easily remember next time reading them.
This is a confirmation, my learning style is definitely virtual and writing. Am teaching my kids writing skills and everyone says how wonder their hand writing is at a tender age. Am I doing the right thing or let them find themselves. During the lock down I print out their school work and make them write. Thanks
I'm a "do I care about this or not" learner. If I care then I can learn visually, by listening, and by doing. If I don't care then it gets blocked out completely 😂
Very important video .. Thanks for the content ! I am also an educator in NYC , also just started a UA-cam channel .. I would like to connect with you !
Thumbs down bc this is the 3rd or 4th video that doesn't give pictures of the methods and hands on explaination how to use it using real notes. I suggest doing the actual note taking on live so we can apply it bc I have no idea how to start thx.

Sameee! Yeah, take a look at visual learning styles - you’d most likely fall into that category :)
Thought I was the only one

I am a visual learner and an audio learner so like, for example if there's electronic book on the subject that I want, I will get that
I assumed there was only one way to learn to. Until I started college in 2020, that is when I learned about the different styles.
The first to like and comment 😎 like finally! Thank you again for another video 💕😊

There’s actually no such thing as “learning styles” and this has been debunked from multiple recent studies.
Please share your citations, that is interesting!
