The funniest thing to me is that Leo and Johnny, two of the considerably more normal characters, beat bedman. Like. The dude can read peoples minds in real time and Leo and Johnny beat him just by slashing the sky randomly and having a sword.
I mean if you can predict what the enemy’ll do but you don’t have a way to counter it, it’s just useless information

Johnnys cuts are so ridiculously precice you barely feel them, also his sword skills are in the same ballpark as Ky and Baiken by sheer talent alone since he constantly neglects his training, also he ties with Chipp for fastest character since Chipp moves the fastest but Johnny attacks the fastest. Since Gabriel can react to Bedmans teleportation but can't react to Chipp that basically means he's broken af. And don't forget that in a fight he's more concerned with looking cool than giving his all, so we hardly know if that's his maximum.

Can we all agree Chipp is one of the most unique characters ever. Like his backstory sounds like a fever dream but yet it’s interesting and motivational at the same time. He’s literally if you made a painting so outta pocket it’s actually good. He’s also main character material imo and that’s cool af too.

If they ever make a Guilty Gear anime, it should be based on Chipp's story.
This video doesn't do justice for Gabriel. Dude is a regular ass human who fights with only his fists and fist shaped Hadokens... And he's also the guy who invented the Heavenly Potemkin Buster, is seen as an equal by Slayer himself, managed to damage Bedman's supposedly invincible bedframe and pin it to the ground, punched a giant monster made of Antimatter into the air, and his response to what he thought was a prank call was "I'm going to nuke your ass". Dude is the most powerful human alive and a total badass, and yet somehow STILL ISN'T PLAYABLE.
Oh, and Chipp called him out once for not helping in the fight against the Universal Will (Chipp figured out her identity almost immediately BTW), basically told him "you can hit me with a punch that would probably vaporise me on the spot if you want, I'll still be right and you know that", and later lead the entire nation of Zepp into battle which actually made Ariels go "Fuck this shit I'm out".

Tbh despite being one of the most powerful characters in Guilty Gear, he doesn't really have that much potential for a cool and unique moveset, especially after the release of Slayer.

The Japanese version of the epilogue at the end of another story teases that Ky may still be the the king, and that him stepping down was more of a metaphor for Ky the human quitting, and Ky the Gear taking up leadership

Happy Chaos is a great character just because of how unique he is. He isn’t good or evil and he’s practically a omniscient being and was a god in the strive campaign. He’s just so silly and goofy. I adore him as a character and a personality.
I love how all of these side characters have either weirdo personal beef or some other wack add tomfoolery, and then there’s potemkin. Potemkin is just doing his job.
I wish we did get to include testament here just for the ability to mention/joke on how they literally have every hobby and interest any non binary person has ever had
The pwab is mentioned in xrd to be controlled by the conclave, so they're basically the precusor to the conclave (and so i wouldnt call them mostly useless). The mechanical justice copies are like a sort of predecessor to the giant justice clone the conclave created in xrd.
Also crow still exists in-universe so i'm hoping he'll show up again soon (copium).
That's a great point, I certainly didn't think of it that way! I'm also hoping that Crow comes back, they were setting him up to be such a menace, but then didn't do anything with him.
That wasn't a giant clone - that was literally the corpse of Justice. She was smaller in Missing Link because she still hasn't regained her full power at that point.
You forgot that Happy chaos is the dude who discovered backyard and sent an AI "universal will" inside backyard to protect mankind. Dude went crazy after thousand years of captivity

Yeah I think the story of I-no getting frozen in ice is not canon. One, I-no is very clearly not frozen in ice at the start of xrd. And two, (to my knowledge at least) Anji has never worked for That Man, and if he had Baiken probably would have killed him by now anyway.
I think there's evidence to suggest that Anji did work with That Man. In Baiken's Arcade Story in Xrd, there's a line where he says something along the lines of, "How do I tell her that the Gear Maker may not be the one she's looking for?" Also Baiken gets suspicious of Anji that he managed to track down That Man, to which Anji gets defensive about. This doesn't necessarily *prove* that Anji specifically worked with That Man, but it does hint towards the fact that Anji at least made contact with That Man before.
As for I-No, as stated in the video, I've got no clue. It'd be weird if it wasn't canon because most of the other Accent Core stories (referring to each characters' Path 1 here) are pretty much canon. There's a few where I see some inconsistencies (Like Slayer retiring to a different world, when in reality, he just retired to his Manor), but nothing that's straight up non-canonical. So to me, the fact that there's no explanation is just super out of place. In the end, I just chalked it up to, "it's Guilty Gear, there's probably an explanation", and moved on lmao. I appreciate your input!

I can’t wait for the blazblue video, especially the part where you’ll have to explain that 1/3 of all the characters are Ragna’s sisters, another 1/3 want to kill Ragna, and the last 1/3 are just minding their own business like being a big furry cat banging a milf mage, creating a new species of almost entirely cat girls, this species being then artificially cloned by some bad dude to use them as a weapon
Can’t believe Ragna (main character) actually has a very tragic story despite how goofy this all is. (Ragna is just Sol if he Sol never got hope or a happy ending)

I always thought that the new leader would be Ramlethal as they set her up as a squad leader in delilahs story arc as well as having her squadmate mention how good she was as a leader.

From what I understand, he wasn’t really cured of the ghosts (not demons), he simply learned to control them more.
I appreciate you sharing your thoughts, but I don’t believe that’s true actually. Faust tried to cure Zappa in Accent Core, and while he was able to get rid of the spirit for a short while, it came back like month later. In Xrd, Zappa joins an observatory in Finland to research his condition.
Also in Xrd Revelator, Faust tells Zappa something like, “I’m afraid your condition is completely beyond my understanding”, so yeah, Zappa’s still got the spirit within him.

Ok so for a tldr on Chaos' Paradox in Arcade from watching the arcade stuff 2 minutes ago;
So you know how everyone that exists in the guilty gear universe has a code dedicated to them in the backyard? So demihumans (for our purposes vampires and others) have a thing with their code where it links between timelines kind of the same way that an internet cable.
So basically happy chaos took a internet cable and went back to the normal guilty gear universe.

when you said "Nagoriyuki training sessions" at 10:54, at first I thought Nagoriyuki was giving you metaphorical "training sessions" cuz you know, he looks like an ancient samurai, he's probably been around the world, he probably knows a lot of stuff in life, he looks like the perfect fit for the role of mentor master who both trains you and gives you life advice

A part of me wants to ask you to do one of these on Type Moon's works. Though, as someone who's played games from both, I think I would consider the Type Moon stuff easier. The only hard part is determining if Type Moon is playing with "It's all a simulation" story, or a "multiverse shenanigans" story. Depends on how you define the Mages, ancesters, and the moon. Certainly plays with the same logic as DC and White Wolf does, but with a twist.

Ok so about KY stepping down.
It seems he stepped down from king, told the truth of his family (most importantly that he is a gear himself due to the blood of the scales of Juno) THEN becuase ilirya is a democracy he imediatly ran agian and won.
BUT, that could all still be wrong and it's Dizzy, bc it's not very clear. It just shows Ky in kingly clothes when stating "accepting a non-human leader" then fading to black.
Now that I think about it, it now makes more sence that Brisket went to Ky about her gender, as both charecters were trying to tell the world about thier identity. In Ky's case its that he is a gear. And brisket that she is a girl. That's actually very sweet I'm starting to cry wtf.
