Gohan knew what he was doing in terms of power. He just completely misread Gohan. He knows full saiyans love to fight, not realizing hybrid saiyans tend to not carry that over.

Perhaps in one way Goku was returning the favour.

I know Cell was using less than half his strength, but if Goku restored his power to max, then Cell would've been weakened to the point that probably any of the non-human fighters could've beaten him. He's luckier than he realized that Goku gave him the senzu.

i think the reasons he quit the fight against Cell is 1. obiviously of Gohans power but i think 2. is he was facing a powerful being made with the sole purpose of fighting and kiling Son Goku. literally was built to fight him. the other Z fighters were simply not powerful enough, Son Goku is out powered and out classed in marital arts cause Cell knows all his moves.
that and seeing that when he fights Gohan he powers up to a level that's even greater than what he was at now, and that's before the Zenkai btw, it's rather obvious Cell was just simply much stronger than he was

Kai is such a goat dub, I just wish we had it with Falconer music as an option. Either way this dub was an experience the first time.

They are/were easy to find in Nicktoons, Toonzai, and I think even Toonami for a while. The DVDs alone are expensive though.
