I'm glad you've covered this one! My personal story is - I got one when it was only 9 months old. For very little money. I believe it had been removed from a pub illegitimately
I used to like temple on 25. They would streak for 50 to 75 often off of a few quid. I didnt generally play them for high wins, but instead went for cherries, the barcode was often nearby and you could get that off of super hold (secret passage i think?). Then follow me. 312 i think? The follow up board it was better to get temple if it was streaking, because the second jp seemed to not repeat whereas even a normal temple could go on quite a bit. By the time they got to 25 no one seemed to be playing them anymore. The only downside is theyd migrated to the more stabby pubs.
Great video.. thanks mister. I had one of these in a spoons next door to my work. Was like my own peesonal ATM... Machines got SO MUCH casual play back then. You would take a sixty bank out and it would be full again 24 hrs later..... even on the later roms it was excellent.
When these first came out on 15jp the red tot would regularly go for 60 - 75, buzzing game to play, they got tight once the rechips came out and as already mentioned when they were 25jp, hit n run for a quick barcode Still have great memories of this ❤
The latter chips where a skim and run type of machine. You could often get a couple of jp from filling the matrix. You missed a couple of chances to take the bonus again off the nudges
In all my time playing ToT in the wild... plus thousands (tens of) of play in the emulator.... i never had it fill in the three jewels (unlike Addams family with the bats (incorrecty referended in cma) which does it all the time). I always thought they were different programs completely. Secret passage was a sneaky yellow feature JP or barcode on right set up. .... 2 up/down superhold. I have also put a very basic autoplay profile in this in emulator.... it stays pretty close to rrp for a casual collecting on lots of boards.
The barcode had a follow-me type feature where it would give you a light sequence to follow on the reel hold buttons. If you followed the sequence correctly, starting from £1, it would go to JP. The sequence would increasingly get a longer and faster as you went up the wins towards the JP. The trick was If you held all 3 hold buttons when you were meant to be pressing in the sequence, the machine would accept that you had done it correctly and award the win. Repeat this until you got to the JP. I only see this repeat once in about 10 times of doing it. I did it in the local Chinese Takeaway once, and the chefs came out and watched as I was doing it, nearly giving birth as I won. Another player in the local arcade was threatened with being banned when the manager spotted him doing it.
Follow me was either 321 or 231 I think 321 though if I had to guess. Absolute farce that an arcade manager would kick someone out. These ‘tricks’ are built in by the manufacturers on purpose to make the mugs believe they have an edge or advantage.

dont forget the full matrix pays jackpot and with the horseshoe bonuses the hold buttons flash faster when the third one is on with a nudge
At the beginning Red TOT ALWAYS repeated at least once. But I think it was rechipped.

I believe that a arcade in the islands of man had a sign saying No barcode allowed.fucking clowns
The follow me goes to £15... but doesn't have a repeat chance.... even though it spins the jackpot in.

I had barcode hold recently playing it on 20p 15 Jo couldn’t believe it
Hi mate great video. Hope your keeping alright mate 👍👍🍉🍉🍉
24:57 jackpot opportunity missed from full matrix by nudging in reel 3 horseshoe bonus 😢
It doesn't have to give you the matrix full.
It can and usually fobs you off with selector.
@@michaelfay3886 hence why I stated ‘jackpot opportunity’
Have you ever done Battle Axe? Also, is there any way to play these emulators on an iPhone? Watched a few videos now. Top stuff
There's a video for the emptier of Revolution on the channel, Battle Axe is a clone of Revolution.
15s were more profitable for me. Loved a Barcrest. Well publicised on arcadia and UKFMP
arcadia was crap
Always love your vids. Should do a simpsons or Mario kart vid that be cool 😊
